Born: December 12, 1948 in Leeds
Best Known For: A number of scene-stealing roles.
Early-life: Thomas Geoffrey Wilkinson was born on December 12, 1948, in Leeds, West Yorkshire, but moved to Canada with his family when he was just four years old. They returned several years later, and Tom eventually studied at, and graduated from, the University of Kent, before attending Rada.
Career: Wilkinson made his TV debut in the mid-1970s, and went on to appear in programmes including First Among Equals and A Pocket Full of Rye. However, it was his role as Mr Pecksniff in the BBC's 1994 adaptation of Martin Chuzzlewit that really put the actor on the map. Three years later Tom won a Bafta for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in The Full Monty, and the 1990s also saw him appear in such notable films as Shakespeare in Love, In the Name of the Father and Wilde. More recently, he played the gangster Carmine Falcone in Batman Begins, gained great critical acclaim for In the Bedroom, starred alongside George Clooney in Michael Clayton and played German army officer Friedrich Fromm in Valkyrie. He won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Benjamin Franklin in the miniseries John Adams. His recent work on the big screen includes roles in The Ghost, Burke and Hare, The Green Hornet and The Conspirator.

Emily Watson (Actor) .. Lady Mansfield

Best Known For: A string of movies.
Early-life: Emily Margaret Watson was born in London on January 14, 1967 to Richard and Katharine. Her father was an architect and her mother was an English teacher. She went on to study English at the University of Bristol before training at the Drama Studio London.
Career: Watson's acting career began on the stage with roles in the likes of The Children's Hour, Three Sisters, and Much Ado About Nothing. She made her film debut in Lars von Trier's critically acclaimed Breaking the Waves (1996), which earned Watson her first Academy Award nomination. She received a second nomination for Hilary and Jackie (1998). Her other film credits include Angela's Ashes (1999), Gosford Park (2001), The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004), Synecdoche, New York (2008), War Horse (2011), The Book Thief (2013) and The Theory of Everything (2014). Her TV credits include the miniseries The Politician's Husband.

Early-life: Miranda Jane Richardson was born on March 3, 1958, in Southport, Lancashire, the daughter of a marketing executive. She has one older sister, Lesley. Miranda says she never fitted into the area where she lived, describing it as full of nouveaux riche, and began her acting career in school plays. She left school at 17, with plans to be a vet, but then decided to concentrate on drama and enrolled at the Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol. She graduated three years later and began a stint in repertory theatre.
Career: Earned her Equity card at Manchester's Library Theatre in 1979. Two years later, she made her TV debut in sitcom Agony, while her first movie was Underworld in 1985. Her big break came later that year, playing Ruth Ellis, the last woman hanged in Britain, in Dance with A Stranger, but it was the role of Queen Elizabeth I in Blackadder that made her a household name. She turned down the Glenn Close role in Fatal Attraction, and has since played numerous tough or unusual women in projects such as The Crying Game and Sleepy Hollow. Miranda provided the voice of Mrs Tweedy in Chicken Run, and gained Oscar nominations for Tom & Viv and Damage. She appeared in the acclaimed, Oscar-nominated movie The Hours, while recent offerings include The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle and Made in Dagenham. TV successes include thriller Rubicon.

Penelope Wilton (Actor) .. Lady Mary Murray

Best Known For: Downton Abbey.
Early-life: Penelope Alice Wilton was born on June 3, 1946, in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. She was raised in London after her father, a barrister, went to work there. She has two sisters. Acting is in the family's blood - her aunt and uncle are Linden and Bill Travers, while her cousin, Richard Morant, also treads the boards. After completing her drama school training, Wilton began her professional career at the Nottingham Playhouse before joining the Royal Court Theatre.
Career: Wilton worked on the stage until 1972, eventually making her TV debut in An Affair of Honour. Her first film was 1977's Joseph Andrews. BBC sitcom Ever Decreasing Circles made her a household name in 1984; it ran for four series. She's also appeared on TV in The Monocled Mutineer, The Borrowers, Talking Heads 2, The Whistle-Blower, Lucky Jim and Falling. Movie work includes The French Lieutenant's Woman, Cry Freedom, Clockwise, Iris, Shaun of the Dead and Calendar Girls. Sci-fi fans will know her best from her role as British Prime Minister Harriet Jones in Doctor Who; the role was written specifically for her by Russell T Davies, with whom she'd previously worked on Bob and Rose. Her recent work includes The History Boys, Five Days, South Riding and Downton Abbey.

Best Known For: Playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series.
Early-life: Thomas Andrew Felton was born in Epsom, Surrey, on September 22, 1987 to Sharon and Peter. He is the youngest of four sons. He was a member of four school choirs. He began appearing in commercials when he was eight for the likes of Commercial Union and Barclaycard.
Career: Felton landed his first film role in 1997 when he starred in Peter Hewitt's The Borrowers. Roles followed in the TV movie Second Sight and Hollywood film Anna and the King (1999). Felton is best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series. He started his own official fan club in 2004. Since the Harry Potter films ended, Felton has starred in The Woman in Black (2012), Kill Your Darlings (2013), What If (2013) and Trainwreck (2015). He also had a recurring role in A Young Doctor's Notebook.
