Diego Luna (Actor) .. Manolo

Best Known For: A number of supporting roles.
Early-life: Diego Luna Alexander was born in Mexico City on December 29, 1979, to English costume designer Fiona Alexander and Mexican set designer Alejandro Luna. Diego's mother died when he was two years old. From an early age, Diego acted on TV, in films and on the stage.
Career: Luna's big break came in 2001 when he was cast in the critically acclaimed Mexican film Y Tu Mama Tambien. Since then he has appeared in a number of American offerings, including Frida (2002), Vampires: Los Muertos (2002), Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (2004), Milk (2008) and Elysium (2013). He made his directorial debut with Chavez (2014), which follows American labour leader Cesar Chavez's efforts to organise 50,000 farm workers in California.
Quote: 'When I was growing up in the theatre there were all these amazing girls telling me about the guy who broke their heart. And I was always wishing that it was me.'
Trivia: On a number of occasions he has acted alongside best friend Gael Garcia Bernal.

Best Known For: Avatar.
Early-life: Zoe Yadira Saldana Nazario was born in Passaic, New Jersey, on June 19, 1978. She spent her early childhood in Queens, New York, but after her father died in a car accident when she was nine, she moved with her mother to the Dominican Republic. It was here that she studied ballet, jazz and modern Latin dance at the ECOS Espacio de Danza Academy. Her family returned to Queens after her second year in high school.
Career: In 1995, Saldana began acting with the FACES theatre group in Brooklyn. She also performed with the New York Youth Theater and it was her appearance in a production of Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat that led to her being recruited by a talent agency. She used her dance training in her first film role, playing a ballet dancer in Center Stage (2000). Roles followed in Crossroads (2002), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), and The Terminal (2004), but she didn't become widely known until she starred in the hugely popular Avatar (2009). In the same year, she appeared in Star Trek. More recently, Saldana has been cast in Death at a Funeral (2010) and Star Trek Into Darkness (2013).

Early-life: Ronald Francis Perlman was born April 13, 1950 in New York City, New York. He attended George Washington High School, the Lehman College in New York City, where he got the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre, and the University of Minnesota. He graduated from the latter in 1973 as a Master of Fine Arts. Made his TV debut in 1979 series Ryan's Hope. His big screen debut came in acclaimed prehistoric drama Quest For Fire. Perlman paid the rent with projects including The Ice Pirates, The Fall Guy and Miami Vice, before TV series Beauty and the Beast made him a cult star in 1987.
Career: In 1993 he made his first collaboration with director Guillermo del Toro in Cronos, and also became a favourite of director Jean-Pierre Jeunet after starring in The City of Lost Children. The French director also cast him in Alien Resurrection. Re-teamed with del Toro for Blade II, who also cast him as the heroic demon star of Hellboy in 2004. Also starred in a sequel to that hit, and voiced an animated spin-off. Has lent his familiar tones to assorted cartoons and video games over the years, including Batman and Halo 3. In recent years has won a new wave of fans thanks to hit TV series Sons of Anarchy, and the films Drive and Conan the Barbarian. He starred in del Toro's 2013 fantasy epic Pacific Rim.

Christina Applegate (Actor) .. Mary Beth
Born: November 25, 1971 in Hollywood
Best Known For: Married… with Children and the Anchorman movies.
Early-life: Christina was born in Hollywood on November 25, 1971, the daughter of record producer Robert Applegate and singer-actress Nancy Priddy. Christina made her acting debut at the age of five months when her mother worked on a commercial for baby bottles. In 1981, she made her film debut in Jaws of Satan and also starred in Beatlemania.
Career: Applegate had guest roles in a number of TV shows before her big break in 1987 when she was cast as Kelly Bundy in the hugely popular sitcom Married… with Children. She went on to play the character for 11 years in more than 250 episodes. While working on Married… with Children, she also starred in Streets (1990), Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991) and Mars Attacks! (1996). More recently, Applegate has starred in the sitcoms Jesse, Samantha Who? and Up All Night, and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) and its sequel Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013).
