Mark and Michael tied the knot 17 years ago, launching their new life together by purchasing the Kings Arms, what is now the last-remaining pub in Scalford, a village of around 600 residents, near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. It has a bar, a 50-seater restaurant, a garden and two guest rooms - but times are tough for the pub trade, and the couple have little to show for almost two decades behind the bar. Can Alex help them to work more smartly and revive the fortunes of their business?
