In Manchester, palliative care nurse and 'never a dull moment' Pauline, is hoping to impress her guests with a family-style dinner party and plenty of home comforts. But Pauline kicks off her night by slipping up and forgetting to serve professional singer Danny, while cabaret practitioner Vanessa reveals an unexpected fear and jack-of-all-trades Richard is not impressed. Dental nurse Amy is intrigued by what Pauline does and her caring nature points the group to the answer. And a rousing choral performance that gets everyone involved delivers yet another side of Pauline. Will her snug soiree put her in the driving seat for the £1,000 prize?
