Early-life: Jason Kent Bateman was born in Rye, New York, on January 14, 1969 to flight attendant Victoria and film and TV producer Kent Bateman. At the age of 12, Jason made his TV acting debut in Little House on the Prairie. He earned the status of teen idol in the mid-1980s following appearances on Silver Spoons and The Hogan Family. He gained international recognition as the star of box office-flop Teen Wolf Too (1987).
Career: During the 1990s, Bateman had roles in four TV series that never lasted beyond one season. He bounced back in 2003 when he was cast as Michael Bluth in the comedy series Arrested Development. It ended in 2006, only to be revived by Netflix in 2013. In recent years, Bateman has been involved in a number of popular Hollywood movies, including Juno (2007), Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Hancock (2008), Up in the Air (2009), Paul (2011), Horrible Bosses (2011) and Identity Thief (2013).

Best Known For: The female reboot of Ghostbusters to global audiences and Saturday Night Live in the United States.
Early-life: Kathryn McKinnon Berthold was born in Sea Cliff, New York, on January 6, 1984 to Laura and Michael. She has a younger sister, Emily. Her father died when she was 18. Kate went on to study theatre at Columbia University, where she co-founded a comedy group, Tea Party. She was also a member of another student comedy group, Prangstgrup.
Career: In 2007, McKinnon joined the cast of The Big Gay Sketch Show. She made her debut on Saturday Night Live (SNL) in 2012 and she is best known for her impersonations of Hillary Clinton, Kellyanne Conway, Ellen DeGeneres and Justin Bieber. She won a Primetime Emmy for her work on SNL in 2016. She has voiced characters on the big screen in The Angry Birds Movie (2016) and Finding Dory (2016) and on TV in Family Guy and The Simpsons. She reached a wider audience in 2016 when she played Dr Jillian Holtzmann in Ghostbusters.

Best Known For: Being a stand-up comedian and starring Cloverfield, Deadpool and Silicon Valley.
Early-life: Todd Joseph Miller was born in Denver on June 4, 1981 to Leslie and Kent. TJ went on to study at George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he was a member of the sketch and improv comedy group receSs. After graduating in psychology, he moved to Chicago. He toured with Second City for almost two years and performed stand-up every night for almost four years. He was a regular performer at Chicago's The Lincoln Lodge.
Career: Miller made his TV debut in The Standard Deviants, a PBS educational show. His film credits include Cloverfield (2008), She's Out of My League (2010), Get Him to the Greek (2010), Rock of Ages (2012), Deadpool (2016) and Office Christmas Party (2016). He is the voice of Ranger Jones in Yogi Bear (2010), Fred in Big Hero 6 (2014) and Tuffnut Thorston in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. Since 2014, he has played Erlich Bachman in the HBO comedy Silicon Valley.

Early-life: Courtney Bernard Vance was born on March 12, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan. He attended the Detroit Country Day School and later graduated from Harvard with a bachelor of arts degree. He continued his education at the Yale School of Drama where he received a Master of Fine Arts degree, but during his college years also began working professionally at the Boston Shakespeare Company.
Career: After earning two Tony Award nominations, he launched what would become a long and varied screen career. A memorable turn as Doc Johnson in the Vietnam war film Hamburger Hill in 1987 helped him land roles in the acclaimed movie The Hunt for Red October and TV dramas thirtysomething and In the Line of Duty: Street War. Splitting his time between the stage and screen, he built up a loyal following of devoted fans. By the mid-1990s, job offers were rolling in. Other film credits include Dangerous Minds, The Preacher's Wife, Cookie's Fortune and Space Cowboys. Early-life: Jennifer Joanna Aniston was born on February 11, 1969, in Sherman Oaks, California, the daughter of actor John Aniston and his wife Nancy. Telly Savalas was her godfather. Her parents divorced when she was nine. Following a spell in her father's native Greece, she was raised in New York, where she joined a drama club. Despite being a talented artist, Aniston decided to concentrate on theatrical pursuits when she enrolled at the famous New York School of Performing Arts.
Career: On graduating, she appeared off-Broadway in various productions. In 1990 she made her TV debut in Molloy, following it up with a part in movie spin-off Ferris Bueller. Neither show, nor her first movie, Leprechaun, had much of an impact. She made various guest appearances in TV series until landing the part of poor little rich girl Rachel Green in Friends in 1994.
