Twenty-year-old Jess is critically injured and her older sister Jaimie-Leigh suffers a broken neck when their car collides with another vehicle and flips. Medical staff and a team of surgeons race against the clock in a fight to save Jess's hand from amputation. John, 61, is taken to resus after steping straight into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Emergency medics act quickly to treat an open break in his leg and get him ready for theatre
