The crew of the scalloper Golden Promise pushes Force 6 winds to reach newly opening scallops beds ahead of their rivals. With the boat first to the grounds, they are in for a big pay day - but only once they cover the £8,000 fuel expenses to get here. Family owned trawler Adenia hunts for 1,000 tons of mackerel to sell to the lucrative Asian sushi market, and skipper Ivan Toms and son Rhys fish Cornwall's inshore waters in Maxine's Pride, one of the oldest trawlers in UK waters. Can they catch enough to give themselves a wage and put money aside for repairs?
