Gordon Ramsay visits Boardwalk 11, a Los Angeles gastropub and karaoke bar, where the late-night singing entertainment has become more appealing than the dining experience. He and his team have just 24 hours to redecorate the restaurant in a hip 1970s retro style as a fun disco lounge. They also revamp the menu to offer more fresh, simple fare, working around the clock with Boardwalk 11's staff, who must learn how to prepare the new dishes. The patrons are asked to return the next day and after dining in the upgraded establishment appraise their experience
