Henry Moore: A Culture Show Special

A 2010 programme in which Alan Yentob examines the sculptor's life on film, looking at how his appearances on programmes such as Monitor, Face to Face, The Ascent of Man and Nationwide helped his rise to fame after the Second World War and allowed his radical and progressive art to be accepted. He meets BBC producer John Read, whose 1951 profile of Moore was the first full-length documentary about a living artist, and looks at the man behind the media image as he talks to Moore's daughter Mary and fans such as Antony Gormley and Anish Kapoor
