The search for the next classical music superstar begins with Petroc Trelawny presenting the first of two programme featuring highlights of the auditions at Bath Spa University. The young musicians showcase a mix of instruments including violin, piano, guitar, accordion and saxophone in works by composers such as Debussy, Chopin, Schumann and Ravel. On the judging panel are concert pianist Joanna MacGregor and conductor and broadcaster Ben Gernon, with trombonist Peter Moore joining for the audition stage
