About Saloon Bar
The locals of a pub gather at Christmas, awaiting news of the landlord's wife who is having a baby. One of their number is absent, having been accused of murder and sentenced to be hanged, but a bookmaker organises his fellow drinkers to help re-examine the case and prove their friend innocent.
