The Sawdusts are preparing for Christmas as they decorate the house, even planting a tree in the living room, much to Olgas surprise! Olga learns all about Christmas and then tells Daisy and Noel about the traditional guinea pig celebration of Piggymas. Noel and the guinea pigs look forward to presents too. Could Father Christmas be the visitor that will bring her a new feeding bowl to replace the one broken by Mrs Sawdust?

Her imagination goes wild, and she tells Daisy and the other animals to get ready for a polar adventure inspired by her story of Sir Ernest Piggleton. Daisy dutifully practises by building a hay igloo, but it turns out the guinea pigs are really heading into the Sawdust's cosy house for the winter.
