Further coverage of day one of the Grand Slam tournament from the All England Club, featuring more men's and ladies' first-round singles matches. Emma Raducanu prevailed 6-3, 6-3 at this stage last year in an all-British match against teenage wildcard Mingge Xu. The 2021 US Open champion went on to reach the third round, but she will have high hopes of going further this time around after an encouraging showing at Queen's that saw her reach the final before losing out to Donna Vekic. Another woman who will expect to fare well this year is 2025 Australian Open champion Madison Keys, who came back to win 6-7, 7-5, 7-5 against Elena-Gabriela Ruse in round one 12 months ago

The concluding coverage of day one of the Grand Slam tournament from the All England Club, as the men's and ladies' first-round singles matches continue. Home favourite Katie Boulter got off to a winning start on Centre Court 12 months ago with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 victory over ninth seed Paula Badosa. She was followed by Arthur Rinderknech and Alexander Zverev, who were level at 7-6, 6-7 after two attritional sets when play was suspended for the day. Elsewhere, on the No. 3 Court, unseeded Kamil Majchrzak prevailed in a five-set epic against 2021 runner-up Matteo Berrettini
