Early-life:
Sorcha was born in Dublin on April 9, 1949 to actors Cyril and Maureen Cusack. She is the sister of producer Padraig Cusack and fellow actors Paul Cusack, Sinead Cusack and Niamh Cusack, and the half-sister of actor Catherine Cusack. Her early TV roles in the 1970s include appearances in the mini-series Jane Eyre, and Napoleon and Love.
Career:
Cusack went on to make guest appearances in a number of TV shows, including Boon, Maigret, The Bill, Playing the Field, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, and Dalziel and Pascoe. She has had recurring roles in Casualty, Coronation Street, Pete Versus Life and Father Brown. She also starred in the TV movie Lost Christmas. Her film credits include Angel (1982), Snatch (2000), and Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie.
