A couple are given a mysterious wooden box with a button on it and told that if they press it, they will be given a million dollars but that someone somewhere in the world will die. After pressing the button, they fear they may be the next victim when the box is passed on, and try to find out how and why this is happening. Sci-fi thriller, with Cameron Diaz and James Marsden

Early-life: Cameron Michelle Diaz was born on August 30, 1972, in San Diego, the daughter of a Cuban-American father and an Anglo-German mother. She has an older sister called Chimene. Cameron began modelling at 16 and for the next five years lived in such varied locations as Japan, Australia, Mexico, Morocco, and Paris. Returning to California at the age of 21, she was still modelling when she auditioned for a part in The Mask. To her amazement and despite having no previous acting experience, she was cast as the female lead opposite Jim Carrey.
Career: Over the next three years, she honed her acting skills in such low-budget independent films as The Last Supper, Feeling Minnesota, and Head Above Water. She returned to mainstream films in My Best Friend's Wedding, in which she held her own against veteran actress Julia Roberts. She earned full-fledged star status in 1998 for her performance in the box office smash There's Something About Mary. Since then she's had top billing in such smashes as Charlie's Angels, Gangs of New York and Knight and Day, provided the voice of Princess Fiona in the Shrek movies and TV specials and gained critical acclaim for her performance in Being John Malkovich. She reunited with former boyfriend Justin Timberlake on the big screen in 2011 in Bad Teacher.

James Marsden (Actor) .. Arthur Lewis

Best Known For: The X-Men film series.
Early-life: James Paul Marsden was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on September 18, 1973. His parents divorced when he was nine. He has two sisters and two brothers. He studied broadcast journalism at Oklahoma State University for one and a half years before dropping out to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Career: Marsden's first acting job was in the pilot episode of sitcom The Nanny in 1993. A year later, he starred in Canadian TV series Boogies Diner. His big break came in 1996 when he landed the lead role in ABC drama Second Noah. He went on to star in the films Disturbing Behaviour (1998) and Gossip (2000) and joined the cast of TV comedy drama Ally McBeal in its final season. Since then he has filled out his CV by playing Cyclops in three hugely popular X-Men movies and starring in Superman Returns (2006), Hairspray (2007), Enchanted (2007), 27 Dresses (2008), Death at a Funeral (2010), Bachelorette (2012) and 2 Guns (2013). He also had a recurring role in sitcom 30 Rock.

Best Known For: Being a versatile stage and screen actor.
Early-life: Frank A Langella Jr was born in New Jersey on January 1, 1938. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1959 with a degree in drama. He made his Broadway debut in a 1966 production of Yerma. He followed this with a role in A Cry of Players.
Career: Despite a career largely spent on the stage, Langella has appeared in a number of films, including Diary of a Mad Housewife (1970), Dracula (1979), Superman Returns (2006), Frost/Nixon (2008), Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010), and Robot & Frank (2012). He won his first Tony Award on Broadway for his 1975 performance in Seascape. Other wins came in 2002 for Fortune's Fool, and in 2007 for Frost/Nixon.
