Career: Costner believed his break would come in 1983's The Big Chill - but he was cut from the final film. However, director Lawrence Kasdan cast him in Silverado, which boosted his career. His first major leading role arrived in 1987 in The Untouchables. Since then he has picked up a Best Director Oscar for Dances with Wolves, and had box-office hits with The Bodyguard, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Field of Dreams and JFK. He has struggled to find successful projects in recent years, but Open Range in 2003, which he starred in as well as directing and producing, was a return to form. Career: Heard made her acting debut in the pilot episode of teen drama Jack & Bobby and went on to make guest appearances in a number of programmes, including The Mountain, The OC, Criminal Minds and Californication. She made her movie debut in Friday Night Lights (2004). Roles on the big screen followed in Side FX (2005), Drop Dead Sexy (2005) and North Country (2005). In 2006, she was cast in the title role in horror flick All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. More recently, she has appeared in bigger budget Hollywood movies such as Drive Angry (2011), The Rum Diary (2011), Paranoia (2013) and Machete Kills (2013). In 2011, she starred in the short-lived TV crime drama The Playboy Club.

Career: Steinfeld beat 15,000 other hopefuls for the role of Mattie Ross in True Grit (2010) when she was 13. It earned her an Academy Award nomination. Since then, she has had roles in a number of high-profile films, including Begin Again (2013), Romeo & Juliet (2013), Ender's Game (2013), The Homesman (2014) and Pitch Perfect 2 (2015). In May 2015, Republic Records announced that Steinfeld had signed a record deal.

Career: Nielsen's early professional acting roles were in French and Italian films and TV series. Her first English language film role was in The Devil's Advocate (1997) and she received global recognition when she played Lucilla in the Oscar-winning Gladiator (2000). Since then, she has appeared in Mission to Mars (2000), One Hour Photo (2002), Basic (2003), The Hunted (2003), The Ice Harvest (2005) and Nyphomaniac (2013). She also had roles in the TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Boss, The Following and The Good Wife. More recently, she played Queen Hippolyta in Wonder Woman (2017).
