Luke Goss (Actor) .. Jeremy Miller
Born: September 29, 1968 in London
Best Known For: Being in Bros.
Early-life: Born on September 29, 1968, in Peckham, London, minutes before his twin brother Matt. According to their mum, they were both natural performers from an early age. In 1987, they formed the band Bros with their school friend Craig Logan - Luke was the drummer. The group soon scored a massive hit with the single When Will I Be Famous, while the twins attracted an army of female teenage fans, who dubbed themselves Brossettes.
Career: Even after Logan left the band, Bros continued to enjoy chart success, selling 16 million records worldwide. But by the early 1990s, the hits dried up and they split in 1992 amid rumours the brothers had spent all their earnings. Luke penned a biography called I Owe You Nothing, and continued to make records with a new backing group, Band of Thieves, before deciding to concentrate on acting. He believes his fame was initially a drawback, but his career picked up when he decided to try his luck in America, where Bros had never made an impact. Since then he's appeared in movies including ZigZag, Blade II and Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
Quote: On reforming Bros: "The music was OK and the experience was brilliant but a grown man shouldn't do those pop songs again."
Trivia: He has appeared in stage musicals, including Grease.
Mischa Barton (Actor) .. Pamela Miller
Born: January 24, 1986 in London
Best Known For: Playing Marissa in The OC.
Early-life: Mischa Anne Marsden Barton was born in London on January 24, 1986, to an English father and Irish mother. Barton moved to New York with her parents when she was four. She made her acting debut five years later in a theatre production of Slavs! which was followed by many more parts in stage plays. She graduated from Manhattan's Professional Children's School in 2004, and has two sisters, barrister Zoe and singer/actress Hania.
Career: After a successful stint on the stage, Barton broke into films, and appeared in the award-winning Lawn Dogs with Sam Rockwell in 1997. Since then she's featured in Pups, Notting Hill, The Sixth Sense, and Skipped Parts as well TV series All My Children, Once and Again and, of course, The OC, in which she starred as Marissa Cooper. Her numerous films include The Oh in Ohio, Closing the Ring, Homecoming, St Trinian's, You and I, Bhopal: Prayer for Rain and The Sibling.
Quote: "I do intelligent roles. I don't want to be labelled as doing silly movies. I'm more mature than kids my age because I'm constantly surrounded by adults."
Trivia: In early 2009, at the age of 23, she had her ears pierced for the very first time especially for her role as Sonja Stone in The Beautiful Life: TBL (2009).
Ving Rhames (Actor) .. Richard
Born: May 12, 1959 in New York
Best Known For: Pulp Fiction.
Early-life: Irving Rameses Rhames was born in New York City in 1959 and grew up in Harlem. A good student, he entered New York's School of Performing Arts, where he discovered his love of acting. After high school, he studied drama where fellow acting student Stanley Tucci gave him his nickname "Ving". Rhames later transferred to Juilliard, where he began his career in New York theater.
Career: Rhames first appeared on Broadway in the play The Winter Boys in 1984. Ving continued his rise to fame through his work in soap operas. He found work as a supporting actor, and came to the attention of the general public by playing the role of Marsellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction (1994). Major hits like Con-Air and the three Mission Impossible movies followed. He won a Golden Globe in 1998 for best actor in a TV miniseries for his performance in HBO's Don King: Only in America - and memorably presented it to Jack Lemmon. Other hits include Bringing Out the dead and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. He played the title role in a short-lived remake of Kojak.
Quote: "My approach to the work is the same, whether I had the lead or a supporting role. I consider myself a character actor in the true sense of the word. Unless I'm doing my autobiography, I'm playing a character."
Trivia: He put on 30lbs for his role in Striptease.
