Early-life: Joshua Daniel Hartnett was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota on July 21, 1978, and raised largely by his father and stepmother. He has three siblings Jessica, Jake and Joe. He graduated from South High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota in June 1996, then attended a New York acting school. In 1997, he was offered the role of Michael Fitzgerald in the American TV series Cracker, as well as roles in several small plays and commercials. He reached a mainstream audience with his starring role in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later in 1998 and followed this up with The Faculty (1998).
Career: Hartnett has developed a steady career, having appeared in several hit films, including The Virgin Suicides (1999), Black Hawk Down (2001), Lucky Number Slevin (2006), Sin City (2005) and The Black Dahlia (2006). In 2008, he branched out into producing, with the movies August (in which he also features) and Nobody. In 2014, he began starring in the TV horror drama Penny Dreadful.

Bruce Willis (Actor) .. Mr Goodkat
Born: March 19, 1955 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany
Best Known For: The Die Hard films.
Early-life: Born Walter Bruce Willis on March 19, 1955, in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. He is the oldest of four children. His father was a US soldier who married a local woman. After his father left the military, the family moved to Carneys Point, New Jersey. As a child he had a crippling stutter. He attended Montclair State University, but dropped out to pursue acting. While working as a barman, Willis was spotted by a New York casting director.
Career: Willis started out on stage and had small parts in movies and on TV before landing a lead role in hit series Moonlighting in 1985. The show's success led to major film roles and a brief stint in music. In 1988 he scored a massive hit on the big screen with Die Hard. Other successes include Pulp Fiction, Twelve Monkeys, Armageddon, The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. In 2001 he announced he was steering clear of violent roles, but relented and went on to star in Hostage, Sin City and 16 Blocks. He scored another major success with A Good Day to Die Hard, and always has several movies in the pipeline (a fifth Die Hard film is being developed). Other recent films include Moonrise Kingdom, Red 2 and Sin City: A Dame to Die For.

Early-life: Lucy Alexis Liu was born on December 2, 1968, to Chinese immigrants in Queens, New York. Her mother is a biochemist and her father a civil engineer. She has a brother and a sister and speaks fluent Mandarin. After high school she attended New York University, hated it, moved to the University of Michigan and gained a degree in Asian languages and cultures. She also did dance and acting training and, after playing the lead in a stage version of Alice in Wonderland, decided to turn professional.
Career: After moving to Los Angeles, Liu worked as an aerobics instructor before gradually gaining roles. After short appearances in Beverly Hills 90210, ER, and The X Files, she won a regular part in sitcom Pearl. Various forgettable roles followed before she set pulses racing as a dominatrix in Mel Gibson's Maverick and landed a regular part in Ally McBeal, which made her a star. She's since appeared in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and its sequel, Chicago, Kill Bill, Lucky Number Slevin and Elementary.

Morgan Freeman (Actor) .. The Boss

Early-life: Born Morgan Porterfield Freeman on June 1, 1937, the son of a cleaner and a barber in Memphis, Tennessee. Freeman has three older siblings and was partly raised by his paternal grandmother. He was bitten by the acting bug at eight when he starred in a school play. At 12 he won a state-wide drama competition. Morgan turned down the chance to study drama at university to join the US Air Force. He left after four years and began concentrating on an acting career, starting out on stage in the early 1960s.
Career: Freeman's first credited big-screen appearance was in 1971's Who Says I Can't Ride a Rainbow?, before he landed a regular role on children's show The Electric Company. In the mid-1980s, Freeman started getting more prominent roles in movies. Among his biggest hits have been Driving Miss Daisy, The Shawshank Redemption, Se7en, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Glory, Amistad, Deep Impact and Bruce Almighty. He is also an in-demand voice-over artist, lending his dulcet tones to sci-fi blockbuster War of the Worlds and the Oscar-winning documentary March of the Penguins. Freeman received an Academy Award of his own for his supporting role in Clint Eastwood's Million Dollar Baby. A prolific actor, he has more recently appeared in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy and always has several films in pre-production.

Born: December 31, 1943 in Snainton, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Best Known For: Playing Gandhi.
Early-life: Born Krishna Pandit Bhanji on December 31, 1943, in Snainton, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire, the son of a Kenyan-born GP of Indian descent and a British model. His paternal family originally came from the Indian state of Gujarat, Mahatma Gandhi's birthplace. He became interested in acting at Manchester Grammar School, and joined amateur groups. When he announced his intention to become a professional actor, his father advised him to change his name to something more English-sounding and suggested Ben, which had been his own nickname at university.
Career: Kingsley joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1967 and soon began landing lead roles. He also appeared briefly in Coronation Street in the 1960s. He made his movie debut in 1972's Fear Is the Key and worked steadily if unspectacularly on both the big and small screens until 1982 when he won an Oscar for the title role in Richard Attenborough's Gandhi. Since then Kingsley has made such films as Maurice, Without a Clue, Sneakers, Schindler's List, the live-action Thunderbirds movie, Shutter Island and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. He's been Oscar-nominated for Bugsy, Sexy Beast and House of Sand and Fog. Other projects include Iron Man 3 and Hugo.

Born: November 11, 1960 in Peekskill, New York
Best Known For: Scene stealing in a number of movies.
Early-life: Born in Peekskill, New York, on November 11, 1960, Stanley's parents are of Italian descent and he is the oldest of three children. During the early 1970s, his family spent a year living in Florence, Italy. He majored in acting at the State University of New York at Purchase and graduated in 1982. In the same year, he earned his Actors' Equity card playing a soldier in Broadway play The Queen and the Rebels. He made his film debut in Prizzi's Honor (1985).
Career: Tucci is much in demand as an actor and has had roles in a number of films, including Beethoven (1992), The Pelican Brief (1993), Kiss of Death (1995), Big Night (1996), Road to Perdition (2002), The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004), The Devil Wears Prada (2006), Julie & Julia (2009), The Lovely Bones (2009), Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), The Hunger Games (2012) and its sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), and Jack the Giant Slayer (2013).
