Victoria Smurfit (Actor) .. DCI Roisin Connor
Best Known For: Ballykissangel, Trial & Retribution and Dracula.
Early-life: Victoria was born in Dublin in 1974. Her family, headed by her uncle Michael, is one of the richest in Ireland. Victoria was educated at Saint Columbia's College, Dublin, and St George's School, Ascot. After completing an A Level in theatre studies, she studied acting at the Bristol Old Vic theatre school.
Career: In 1997, Smurfit starred in BBC miniseries Ivanhoe, and a year later, she appeared in another period drama, Berkeley Square, before making a name for herself as Orla O'Connell in Ballykissangel. After two series of the BBC drama, the year 2000 saw Smurfit star on the big screen in The Wedding Tackle and The Beach and on the small screen in drama North Square and comedy Cold Feet. Her other credits include About a Boy (2002), Bulletproof Monk (2003), the lead role on TV in Trial & Retribution between 2003 and 2009, and Irish drama The Clinic. More recently, Smurfit has been playing glamorous society queen and vampire slayer Lady Jayne Wetherby in TV horror drama Dracula.

David Hayman (Actor) .. DCS Mike Walker
Born: February 09, 1948 in Glasgow, Scotland
Best Known For: Playing Chief Superintendent Michael Walker in Trial and Retribution.
Early-life: Born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 9, 1948. He studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow before starting his acting career at the city's Citizens Theatre. He began to get recognised nationally after starring in A Sense of Freedom (1981).
Career: Hayman's film credits include Sid and Nancy (1986), Hope and Glory (1987) and The Jackal (1997). Between 1997 and 2009, he played Chief Superintendent Michael Walker in the TV crime drama Trial and Retribution. As well as acting, Hayman has also directed film and television productions, including Silent Scream (1990) and The Hawk (1993). More recently, he was cast as Brace in the television series Taboo.
Quote: 'There's a lot of my industry I'm very disenamoured with. Like the world, television is run on greed and ego. It's not creative integrity, and that wears thin after a while.'
Trivia: He founded the humanitarian charity Spirit Aid.

Born: December 06, 1962 in Luton
Best Known For: His appearances in several James Bond movies.
Early-life: Born in Luton on December 6, 1962. Raised on a council estate, Salmon's education ended abruptly when he was expelled from his local sixth form college. He later began modelling before turning to acting, eventually making his TV debut in 1992 in the first sequel to Prime Suspect.
Career: Salmon worked steadily on the big and small screens with small roles in such projects as Lovejoy, Between the Lines, Soldier Soldier and All Men Are Mortal. A longer stint in Kay Mellor's 1997 TV series Gold made casting directors sit up and take notice. Later that year he played Charles Robinson for the first time in Tomorrow Never Dies - a part he reprised in The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day. Salmon has also appeared in Resident Evil, AVP: Alien vs Predator, Match Point and cult series Hex. Recent TV appearances include The Number One Ladies' Detective Agency, Sky One's Strike Back, and Arrow. In 2012, he partnered professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff on Strictly Come Dancing; they were eliminated in week five. He occasionally appears in Law & Order: UK as barrister Doug Green.

Early-life: Born in 1956 in County Donegal, Ireland, where his father was working as a customs officer. Sean graduated from University College Galway and was also a member of the Druid Theatre Company from 1977 to 1989.
Career: McGinley's earliest on screen roles include appearances in the films The Field (1990), Fools of Fortune (1990) and Who Bombed Birmingham (1990). He then had a handful of guest roles in TV series before landing the role of MacClannough in Braveheart (1995). He then went on to appear in such TV series as Safe and Sound, DDU, Midsommer Murders and Waking the Dead, as well as the films Gangs of New York (2002), Freeze Frame (2004) and Man About Dog (2004). He played Snagsby in period drama series Bleak House in 2005 and Malachy in Canadian comedy-drama Republic of Doyle from 2010 until 2014. More recently, he played Terry in TV thriller Paula.
