Career: Davies started to get noticed for his comedy as one third of sketch comedy group We Are Klang. His big break came in 2008 when he began playing schoolteacher Mr Gilbert in E4's hugely popular sitcom The Inbetweeners. In 2010, Davies's debut solo stand-up show, Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog, was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award, which led to a sell-out nationwide tour. His second solo tour, The Back of My Mum's Head, was another sell-out national tour. He plays the lead role in popular Channel 4 sitcom Man Down, a series he also co-writes.

Career: During this period, Baddiel debuted on the London stand-up circuit, and wrote sketches with Rob Newman for BBC Radio 4's Week Ending. Fame followed in 1990 when the duo appeared as part of The Mary Whitehouse Experience. Baddiel and Newman became the first comedians to sell out Wembley Arena. After the duo split, Baddiel formed a comedy partnership with Frank Skinner when they presented TV series Fantasy Football in 1994. They went on to make chart-topping Euro 96 football anthem Three Lions with the Lightning Seeds. Since then they've hosted several series of Baddiel And Skinner Unplanned, appeared together in the West End, and collaborated on podcasts during the 2006 and 2010 World Cups. Baddiel has also written various novels, including Time for Bed, Whatever Love Means and The Secret Purpose. He also wrote and starred in sitcom Baddiel's Syndrome.

Career: Brand's sense of humour kept her going while dealing with difficult cases at work. She began doing stand-up at London clubs in the mid-1980s and eventually gave up nursing to concentrate on comedy. She was shortlisted for the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival before landing her own comedy show, Jo Brand Through the Cakehole. Since then she has regularly appeared on TV, including as a frequent guest on Have I Got News for You, Question Time and QI. She continues to do stand-up, performing at venues around the country. Brand also took part in Celebrity Fame Academy, and the reality shows Play It Again and Comic Relief Does The Apprentice. She enjoyed a bona fide hit as an actress and writer with dark medical comedy Getting On. She is a judge on ITV reality series Splash!
