Richard Osman (Host)
Born: November 28, 1970 in Billericay
Best Known For: Pointless.
Early-life: Richard Thomas Osman was born in Billericay on November 28, 1970, but grew up in West Sussex. He was raised by his single mum after his father left home - they didn't see each other for 20 years. Richard studied politics and sociology at Trinity College, Cambridge, where his future Pointless colleague Alexander Armstrong was reading English literature. He claims that one of his proudest moments came when his mum and grandfather watched his graduation.
Career: Osman has worked behind the scenes as an executive producer on a number of TV programmes, including Deal or No Deal, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and 10 O'Clock Live. As the UK creative director of TV production company Endemol, he pitched the quiz Pointless to the BBC. As a way of explaining the rules, he played the co-host during a run-through. He was asked to do the role for real when the show was commissioned. Pointless started on BBC Two in 2009 and was an immediate hit. It quickly made the switch to BBC One. Since being in the spotlight on Pointless, he has made guest appearances on QI, Have I Got News for You and Would I Lie to You? He also guest presented an episode of The One Show alongside Alex Jones.

Trivia: He is the younger brother of Mat Osman, bassist with Suede, and suffers from nystagmus, a condition that results in uncontrolled movement of the eyes.
Jodie Kidd (Contestant)
Born: September 25, 1978 in Guildford, Surrey
Best Known For: Gracing the world's catwalks.
Early-life: Born in Surrey in September, 1978, and attended St Michael's Boarding School for Girls. Her father is businessman and polo star John Edward Aitken Kidd, better known as Johnny, and her mother Wendy is a baronet's daughter and former model. Her elder sister Jemma also found fame on the catwalk though she now has a career as a make-up artist to the stars. Her brother Jack followed in his father's footsteps and is also a well known polo player.
Career: Kidd began modelling at 16 and almost immediately ran into a storm of protest. Her almost skeletal figure led to accusations she was encouraging an anorexic look; she says she never suffered from the illness. She has dabbled in films, playing minor roles in Mad Cows and Prince Valiant. On TV as a judge on Celebrity Fools On Horses and took part in the 2008 series of Strictly Come Dancing. Kidd also has a passion for motor racing, having held the record celebrity lap time on Top Gear and taken part in the infamous Gumball 3000. She is an excellent horsewoman, an England representative at polo and plays a mean round of golf. In early 2015, she was a participant on Channel 4 reality series The Jump.

Trivia: In 2014, she lost to actress Sophie Thompson in the final of Celebrity MasterChef.
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall (Contestant)

Best Known For: His unusual gastronomic tastes.
Early-life: Born January 14, 1965, in London. His family moved to rural Gloucestershire when he was six, where his love of the countryside began. 'I was suddenly released into this world of fields, forests and streams, so I would just wander around all day and explore,' he said. After attending Eton, studying philosophy and psychology at Oxford and doing conservation work in Africa, he decided to make his childhood passion for food his career.
Career: Despite being untrained, Fearnley-Whittingstall became a sous chef at the River Cafe, but claims he had to leave because he was too messy. Since then, he's worked as a restaurant critic, but gained fame by hosting A Cook on the Wild Side and TV series Escape to River Cottage in 1999, which focused on his experiences of running a self-sufficient smallholding in Dorset. It also showcased his love of using ingredients growing naturally in the countryside. He's hosted several spin-off series, including TV Dinners, The River Cottage Treatment, and Treats from the Edwardian Country House. He has his own production company and spearheaded a campaign to highlight the maltreatment of animals, particularly chickens.
Quote: 'I struggle not to be a tyrant in the kitchen, but I interfere with other people's cooking and my wife finds that annoying, understandably.'
Trivia: He helped turn an old Axminster inn into an organic produce shop.
Suzi Perry (Contestant)
Born: May 03, 1970 in Cosford, Shropshire
Best Known For: The Gadget Show
Early-life: Suzi Perry was born May 3, 1970, in an RAF hospital in Shropshire, England. She's the daughter of a music promoter - her godfather was guitarist Mel Galley. Raised in Finchfield, she attended Smestow School in Wolverhampton, and had a school job as a lighting technician at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. She went on to study business studies and finance at Wolverhampton Polytechnic.
Career: After college she went into modelling, spending 15 months in Japan and 18 months in London. She later became a motor sports correspondent, reporting on motorcycle racing for BBC News. She also appeared on other sports-related programmes, including Wimbledon, The Boat Race, The London Marathon, Royal Ascot and The Great North Run. Perry appeared on the 2002-2003 revival of Treasure Hunt, where she took the 'sky runner' role made famous by Anneka Rice. She also helped to present the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Her other programmes include Housecall, Superstars, City Hospital and Holiday, although she's now best known for The Gadget Show.

Trivia: She is a patron of the National Association for Bikers with a Disability.
