Early-life:
Born in London on June 3, 1962, Susannah was privately educated at St Mary's School in Oxfordshire and Queen's Gate in Kensington. After a brief flirtation with the idea of becoming a mounted policewoman, she worked as a style consultant for Harrods, before landing a plum job with Giorgio Armani in the United States. Upon returning to the UK, she worked for a succession of big-name designers. In 1994, she met Trinny Woodall, and their newspaper column, Ready to Wear, made the leap to the small screen in 2000.
Career:
Constantine's TV debut with Woodall quickly led to guest slots on Richard & Judy, and that led to then BBC controller Jane Root snapping the pair up. What Not To Wear premiered on BBC Two in 2001, moving to BBC One three years later after proving a ratings hit. In 2006, Constantine and Woodall defected to ITV with the show Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation. The pair have also written several books, including What Not to Wear, What You Wear Can Change Your Life, The Survival Guide, Trinny & Susannah Take on America, and The Body Shape Bible. In November 2015, Constantine was a contestant on ITV reality show I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!
