Born: August 17, 1949 in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica
Best Known For: Writing royal biographies.
Early-life: Born George William Ziadie in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica, on August 17, 1949 to Michael and Gloria. Colin was registered as a boy and brought up as male, although she is genetically female. Against her parents' wishes, she refused to live as a boy. She had corrective surgery when she was 21 and legally changed her name to Georgia Arianna. She became Lady Colin Campbell in 1974 after marrying Lord Colin Campbell, son of Ian Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll. She left him after nine months and they divorced after 14 months.
Career: Campbell is perhaps best known for writing biographies on Diana, Princess of Wales and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. In November 2015, it was confirmed that she would be a contestant on ITV reality show I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!
Quote: 'I was brought up in Jamaica when people hat to occupy themselves and entertain each other.'
Trivia: In 2009, Campbell published her autobiography, Daughter of Narcissus: A Family's Struggle to Survive Their Mother's Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
