Kate, a driven publishing executive, and her boyfriend Eric head off on holiday to a summer resort for some down-time. While there, Kate runs into her old friend Shep, a former camp counselor who is now in charge of the the resort's activities. When strait-laced Eric is called away on business, Kate finds herself bonding with the carefree Shep all over again as he encourages her to rediscover her fun side and stop hiding from life.
