Early-life:
Scott Andrew Caan was born in Los Angeles on August 23, 1976, the son of actors James Caan and Sheila Marie Ryan. Scott was a roadie with Cypress Hill and House of Pain, and was also a member of the hip-hop group The Whooliganz, with the Alchemist. In the late 1990s, he enrolled at the Playhouse West acting school in Los Angeles. His first major film role was in Varsity Blues (1999).
Career:
Caan went on to star in the movies Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000), Ocean's Eleven (2001) and its two sequels, Brooklyn Rules (2007), and Meet Dave (2008). He had a recurring role in the TV series Entourage. His big break came in 2010 when he began playing Danny 'Danno' Williams in the reboot of Hawaii Five-0.
