Early-life:
Danielle Nicole Panabaker was born on September 19, 1987, in Georgia. She has a younger sister, Kay, who is also an actress. The girls grew up in Naperville, Illinois. Danielle became hooked on acting while taking drama classes at summer camp and appearing in amateur productions from the age of 10. She then began auditioning for commercials. She graduated from high school early at the age of 14 before moving to Los Angeles to concentrate on her career.
Career:
After cutting her teeth on numerous adverts, Panabaker landed her first TV role in a 2002 episode of Family Affair. Brief appearances in the likes of Malcolm in the Middle, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit followed. She starred alongside her sister in two episodes of Summerland before landing the part of James Woods' daughter in Shark in 2006. Success since then has come from roles in the films Mr Brooks, Home of the Giants, Friday the 13th, and The Crazies. She guest-starred as Caitlin Snow in the TV series Arrow in early 2014 and reprised the role as a main character in spin-off series The Flash.
