Damian Lewis (Actor) .. Maj Richard D Winters
Born: February 11, 1971 in St John's Wood, London
Best Known For: Homeland and Band of Brothers.
Early-life: Born Damian Watcyn Lewis on February 11, 1971, in St John's Wood, London. His father's family were Welsh, while his mother's grandfather was the Lord Mayor of London. During his youth, his family would summer in the US while visiting relatives who lived there. After studying at Eton he decided to become an actor, and eventually enrolled at the Guidhall School of Music and Drama. To make ends meet he sold car alarms over the telephone, a job he claims he hated.
Career: Lewis joined the Royal Shakespeare Company. He made his TV debut in 1993's Micky Love; his first film was a 1997 take on Robinson Crusoe. He gained more fame playing Mark in Hearts and Bones, but it was the wartime series Band of Brothers that made his name - he also got a chance to prove he could do an American accent, which has come in handy ever since. The Forsyte Saga was another success. Hollywood work has dominated his CV since 2003, with the likes of Dreamcatcher and TV series Life and Homeland. He returned to Blighty to film the big-screen revamp of The Sweeney.
Quote: 'I think I have an ear for outright vulgarity as far as scripts are concerned and I try to avoid that.'
Trivia: He married actress Helen McCrory in 2007.
Donnie Wahlberg (Actor) .. Carwood Lipton
Born: August 17, 1969 in Boston, Massachusetts
Best Known For: Being a New Kid on the Block.
Early-life: Donald Edmond Wahlberg Jr was born on August 17, 1969, in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up with his eight siblings in the city's tough Dorchester area. His youngest brother is Mark Wahlberg, once known as rapper Marky Mark who, with his Funky Bunch, had hit records before he turned to modelling and acting. Donnie was friends with various local boys, including Danny Wood and Jordan Knight, who later became members of his band New Kids on the Block.
Career: Wahlberg's interest in black music and his ability to rap became an integral part of the group's success. Their second album, 1988's Hanging Tough, established them as a major act. Wahlberg also began writing and producing for other artists, including his brother. The band's split in 1994 prompted him to turn to acting. His first role came in Mel Gibson blockbuster Ransom. He then appeared in a TV remake of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, and Southie, which he also executive produced. His breakthrough came in a small, yet moving, role in The Sixth Sense. Since then he's turned to TV, starring in Band of Brothers and Boomtown. He has played a lead role in American drama Blue Bloods since 2010.
Quote: 'I just always wanted to be the centre of attention and somehow be famous.'
Trivia: Away from acting, he likes to play online poker and he is a fan of the Boston Celtics basketball team.

Tom Hanks (Director)
Born: July 09, 1956 in California
Best Known For: Winning Oscars for Forrest Gump and Philadelphia
Early-life: Born in California in 1956, Tom Hanks grew up in what he calls a 'fractured' family. His parents were pioneers in the development of marriage dissolution law in that state, and Tom moved around a lot, living with a succession of step-families. Eager for a career in acting, he auditioned for a community theater play, was invited by the director of that play to go to Cleveland, and there his acting career started.
Career: After several TV roles, Hanks made the transition to movies and became one of the biggest stars of the past three decades. His breakthrough came in 1984's Splash, and was followed by hit after hit, including Bachelor Party and Dragnet. When he took the lead in Oscar-nominated Big in 1988, he transformed a simple comedy into something much more powerful, before truly proving his acting credentials with an Oscar-winning turn as an Aids-afflicted laweyer in Philadeplhia. He gave terrific turns in romantic comedies like Sleepless in Seattle, then another Oscar followed for Forrest Gump. Many expected him to garner a third for Saving Private Ryan. He has been a successful director of several projects and helped bring iconic TV projects like Band of Brothers to the screen. Recent hits include The Da Vinci Code and its follow-up, and the Toy Story films.
Quote: 'My wife keeps on telling me my worst fault is that I keep things to myself and appear relaxed. But I am really in a room in my own head and not hearing a thing anyone is saying.'
