Early-life: Born in Ballougry, Co Derry, Northern Ireland, on October 10, 1956. She was raised in a Protestant area of Londonderry, where her father was a headmaster. She's the youngest of four girls. At the age of seven, Amanda decided she wanted to become an actress. Eleven years later, she left for England to study drama at Manchester Polytechnic. After graduating, she appeared in plays produced by companies in Lancaster and Bolton.
Career: Burton's first regular TV role came in 1982 as Heather Haversham in Brookside. She spent four years in the soap before securing a regular role in Boon. She also appeared in episodes of Inspector Morse, Medics, Stay Lucky, and Lovejoy. In 1993, she starred alongside Kevin Whately in Peak Practice. Two years later she quit to tackle the role of forensic pathologist Dr Sam Ryan in Silent Witness, and stayed with the show for eight years. Other miniseries and one-off dramas include The Gift, Forgotten, The Whistle-Blower, Marple and The Commander. Burton later spent a year on Waterloo Road, had a supporting role in the film Bronson and has presented the series Amanda Burton: Forensic Killers for the Discovery Channel.

Trivia: In 2014, Burton made it through to the semi-finals of Celebrity MasterChef.

Best Known For: Men Behaving Badly.
Early-life: Neil Anthony Morrissey was born on July 4, 1962, in Staffordshire, one of four sons of Irish Catholic parents. He and brother Stephen were caught by police during a spree of petty pilfering. They were separated, sent to a children's home and grew up in care. Morrissey didn't have many prospects on leaving school, but turned his life around after enrolling at the Guildhall School Of Music And Drama. On graduating, he landed a job in panto.
Career: Morrissey made ends meet by taking on advertising work, eventually making his TV debut in a 1984 Juliet Bravo episode. The same year he had a small role in The Bounty alongside Anthony Hopkins and Mel Gibson. Morrissey's big break came in Boon, playing sidekick Rocky for five years before quitting in 1992. Six series of Men Behaving Badly turned him into a major TV star. Other projects include A Woman's Guide To Adultery, Happy Birthday Shakespeare, Hunting Venus, Up 'n' Under, My Summer With Des, The Match and Paradise Heights. He was the original voice of Bob the Builder and had hit records as the character.
