Chris Noth (Actor) .. Det Mike Logan
Born: November 13, 1954 in Madison, Wisconsin
Best Known For: Sex and the City.
Early-life: Born Christopher David Noth on November 13, 1954, in Madison, Wisconsin. He has three older brothers. His mother, Jeanne Parr, was a news reporter for US TV channel CBS, so the family moved around a lot when he was young. He claims to have lived in England, Yugoslavia and Spain as a child, but never for very long. After school, he spent two years at Marlboro College in Vermont, living in a cabin in the woods he built himself.
Career: Noth studied acting with Sandford Meisner in New York and at the Yale School of Drama. He made his film debut in 1981's Waitress! and eventually caught producers' interest with a solid performance in Off Beat in 1986. Roles in I'll Take Manhattan and Baby Boom followed, and he became a household name in the US thanks to his part as Detective Mike Logan in Law and Order. He quit after five years with the show. Sex and the City introduced him to an international audience in 1998. He's also appeared on the big screen in the show's spin-off movies, as well as Cast Away, The Glass House and My One and Only. His recent work includes The Good Wife and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

His younger brother, Dave, is also an actor and has appeared in such productions as Hidalgo, Grace Under Fire and Ghostbusters II. He later joined the prestigious Acting Company at Juilliard School in New York.
Career: Florek started his professional career on stage in the Big Apple before heading west to theatres in San Diego and La Jolla. He made his TV debut in 1982's The Country Girl, and his first film, Eddie Macon's Run, was released a year later. He became a star in 1988 thanks to a role in LA Law, but quit to take part in Law and Order in 1990. The actor spent three years with the show, but later reprised his role as Cragen in spin-off Special Victims Unit in 1999. Florek has also appeared in the films Angel Heart, Sweet Liberty and Hard Rain.

Trivia: He divides his time between New York and Los Angeles.
Michael Moriarty (Actor) .. ADA Ben Stone
Richard Brooks (Actor) .. ADA Paul Robinette
Steven Hill (Actor) .. DA Adam Schiff
Born: February 24, 1922 in Seattle
Best Known For: The 1960s TV series Mission: Impossible.
Early-life: Born Solomon Krakovsky on February 24, 1922, to Jewish parents in Seattle. An early interest in acting was sparked by his sister's entry in a talent contest, but he was unable to pursue this passion until completing his education and serving four years in the Naval Reserve during the Second World War. When the conflict ended, he left the armed forces and decided to follow his dream, auditioning for countless stage roles. His first professional part was in 1946's Ben Hecht's A Flag Is Born.
Career: Hill made his big-screen debut in 1950 alongside screen siren Hedy Lamarr in A Lady Without Passport. Following another two years in the Navy, he returned to acting and forged a successful career. Further stage work garnered huge acclaim, but it was film and TV work that made him a familiar face. While involved in the play A Far Country in 1961, he re-evaluated his faith and was prompted to explore his religion. In 1966 he landed the part of team leader Daniel Briggs in Mission: Impossible, but left in 1967, allegedly due to the shooting schedules requiring him to work on Saturdays, the Jewish Sabbath. After a decade out of the limelight, he returned to the industry in the late 1970s and has worked consistently since. In recent years, he impressed a new generation of fans as District Attorney Adam Schiff in Law & Order, a part he played for 10 years between 1990 and 2000.
Quote: "Every day, I have a most embarrassing moment."

Career: Nixon has worked with such acclaimed directors as Louis Malle, Milos Forman, Mike Nichols, and Robert Altman.
