Chris O'Donnell (Actor) .. G Callen
Born: June 26, 1970 in Winnetka, Illinois
Best Known For: A string of big-budget thrillers.
Early-life: Christopher Eugene O'Donnell was born on June 26, 1970, in Illinois. He is the youngest child of seven siblings. He first started modelling at the age of 13, and at 16 began appearing in adverts. At 17, he was just about to give up on his showbiz dreams when he was offered the chance to audition for what would be his first film, Men Don't Leave. He didn't want to go to the audition, but his mother bribed him by saying she would buy him a new car if he went - he got the role (and presumably the car, too).
Career: Since his breakthrough, O'Donnell has appeared in a number of major motion pictures including Fried Green Tomatoes, the sensational Scent of a Woman, The Chamber, Circle of Friends and Vertical Limit. Big hits included fun offerings like The Three Musketeers. He also tried his hand at romantic comedy in films such as The Bachelor, and starred as Robin in the Batman franchise. For a time, he was tipped to be a true A-list star after building up an impressive body of work in a short time, but then he took some time away from the movies to be with his family and take some stage roles. He has since become a major small-screen presence in the hit series NCIS: Los Angeles.
Quote: 'When I made Batman Forever, I felt like I was making a movie. When I made Batman & Robin, I felt like I was making a toy commercial.'
Trivia: He enjoys playing golf.
LL Cool J (Actor) .. Sam Hanna
Born: January 14, 1969 in Bay Shore, New York, United States
Best Known For: His rap music.
Early-life: Born James Todd Smith on January 14, 1968 in Bay Shore, New York, United States. He started rapping at age nine and created demo tapes in his grandparents' house at 16. After adopting the stage name LL Cool J, which stands for Ladies Love Cool James, he was signed to Def Jam.
Career: LL Cool J released his first single, I Need a Beat, in 1984 and his first album, Radio, in 1985. He also started his acting career in 1985, with a cameo in the film Krush Groove. The next year, he had another cameo in Wildcats (1986) but then took the time out from acting to concentrate on music. His biggest selling album, Bigger and Deffer was released in 1987 and he went on to have a highly successful career in hip hop. Eventually, he returned to acting, beginning with a starring role in the film Out-of-Sync (1995). He then got a part in TV sitcom In the House until 1999. LL Cool J was planning to retire from music in 1998 and just concentrate on acting but instead he decided to keep working in both fields. Since then, he has appeared in such films as Deep Blue Sea (1999), S.W.A.T. (2003) and Last Holiday (2006). Since 2009 he has starred in the TV series NCIS: Los Angeles as Sam Hanna. In the meantime, he has released a number of albums on Def Jam and is considered to be one of the most successful rappers of all time.
Quote: 'I think when you move past your fear and you go after your dreams wholeheartedly, you become free. Know what I'm saying? Move past the fear.'
