Best Known For: Spoiling her child actress stardom with wayward antics
Early-life: Lindsay Dee Lohan was born in New York City, on July 2, 1986, to parents Dina and Michael. By the age of three she was modelling, and eventually made appearances in more then 60 commercials. She made her acting debut in soap opera Another World by the age of 10. Shortly afterwards, she was hand-picked by Oscar-nominated writer Nancy Meyers to play estranged twin sisters in a remake of The Parent Trap, for which she won rave reviews.

While she has continued to win decent reviews for her performances in such critic-friendly fare as the Emilio Estevez-directed Bobby, she is still best known for her tearaway behaviour. Some Lohan vehicles, including 2007's I Know Who Killed Me, have been savaged by critics. Among her more impressive credits are A Prairie Home Companion and Herbie Fully Loaded.
