In 2054, criminal Mickey Barnes signs up to be a worker who agrees to be reprinted every time he perishes. He flees Earth with friend and accomplice Timo on an interstellar mission to the remote colony of Niflheim, masterminded by Kenneth Marshall and his wife, Ylfa. The 17th iteration of Mickey is presumed dead after a close encounter with creatures on the planet's surface, but is saved from a grim fate, and when he arrives back at base, Mickey meets his reprinted self. Director Bong Joon Ho's sci-fi comedy, starring Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Mark Ruffalo, Toni Collette and Steven Yeun

Early-life: Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson was born in London on May 13, 1986 to Richard and Clare. He has two older sisters, Victoria and Lizzy. He began modelling from the age of 12 and became involved in amateur dramatics at the Barnes Theatre Company.
Career: His first acting break came in 2005 when he received acclaim for his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. In 2008, he landed the role of Edward Cullen in the film Twilight. The film grossed more than $390million and turned Pattinson into a global superstar. Early-life: Mark Alan Ruffalo was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on November 22, 1967 to Marie and Frank. He has two sisters, Tania and Nicole, and a brother, Scott. He spent his teenage years in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and later moved with his family to San Diego and Los Angeles. He took acting classes at the Stella Adler Conservatory and co-founded the Orpheus Theatre Company. While trying to establish an acting career, he made ends meet working as a bartender.
Career: Ruffalo was in the original cast of Kenneth Lonergan's stage play This is Our Youth, which premiered Off-Broadway in 1996. He went on to star alongside Laura Linney in Lonergan's Academy Award-nominated movie You Can Count on Me (2000). Film roles followed in XX/XY (2002), In the Cut (2003), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), Rumour Has It (2005), Zodiac (2007) and Where the Wild Things Are (2009). He won an Academy Award nomination for The Kids Are All Right (2010) and went on to star in Shutter Island (2010), Date Night (2010), The Avengers (2012), Now You See Me (2013) and Begin Again (2014).

Best Known For: Playing the lead in Muriel's Wedding.
Early-life: Antonia Collette was born on November 1, 1972, in Sydney, Australia, the first of three children to truck driver Bob and his wife Judy, a customer service representative. After leaving school at 16, she enrolled in the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, and supported herself by delivering pizzas. After studying for 18 months, she left to star in the Russell Crowe movie Spotswood. She was nominated for the Australian Film Institute plaudit of Best Supporting Actress.
Career: In 1994, Collette landed the lead role in Muriel's Wedding, gaining 40 lbs for the part. She made her Hollywood debut in hit-and-miss 1995 comedy The Pallbearer. However, her Oscar-nominated role in The Sixth Sense really put her on the map in Tinseltown. Toni has also appeared in Shaft, About a Boy and won critical acclaim for her work in 2006 comedy drama Little Miss Sunshine. Later projects include Tsunami: The Aftermath, The Black Balloon, and Hey, Hey, It's Esther Blueburger. Between 2009 and 2011 she starred in the American comedy drama United States of Tara in a role that saw her win an Emmy and Golden Globe. Away from acting, she also plays in her band Toni Collette and the Finish.
