Best Known For: Her appearances in a variety of sitcoms.
Early-life: Born Tallulah Jessica Elina Stevenson in Lewisham, South London, on October 30, 1972, and raised in Brighton, Sussex. She began writing at school, concentrating on creating unusual sci-fi stories. At 14, she joined the National Youth Theatre and four years later moved to London, where she earned a crust as an an actress and comedian. She became friends with actress Katy Carmichael and they went on to work with Simon Pegg on the sketch show Six Pairs of Pants.
Career: Hynes worked with Pegg and director Edgar Wright on Asylum before they collaborated on cult Channel 4 sitcom Spaced. Hynes was nominated for an Olivier Award for her work in stage play The Night Heron, and garnered a Bafta nomination for 2001 TV film, Tomorrow La Scala! She had a small role in Pegg and Wright's hit 2004 film Shaun of the Dead. Hynes also appeared in The Royle Family, Bob and Rose, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, According To Bex, Pinochet in Suburbia, Confetti, Four Last Songs and Magicians. She made a memorable appearance in two episodes of Doctor Who alongside David Tennant, playing a teacher who won the Time Lord's love. She's since returned to sitcoms with Up the Women (which she also wrote), Twenty Twelve and its spin-off W1A.

Trivia: She decided to become known by her married name of Hynes in 2007.

Born: November 16, 1965 in Guisborough
Best Known For: Northern Lights, and Waterloo Road.
Early-life: Born on 16 November, 1965, in Guisborough in the North East, Mark hoped to follow in the footsteps of his uncle, actor Michael Gunn. Always the class clown, he fell in love with the theatre and spent many years trying to make a career out of acting. He was in the same drama class at the Stockton-Billingham Tech as actress Elizabeth Carling. Some of his early acting experience came with the Middlesbrough Youth Theatre, with performances in plays such as Atmos Fear and Twist.
Career: Benton's big break came in the 1997 Mike Leigh film Career Girls. For the past decade he has barely been off our screens. He had a recurring role as Father McBride in the James Nesbitt series Murphy's Law. He has starred with Vic and Bob in their remake of Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Catterick, and Monkey Trousers. He was comedy gold in Craig Cash's Early Doors and The Booze Cruise trilogy. His biggest role was alongside Robson Green in Christmas Lights, Northern Lights, City Lights and Clash of the Santas. He was also a regular on Waterloo Road and is the host of game show The Edge. In 2013, he was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
Quote: "I think sometimes you have to ask if you want to be an actor or do you want to be a celebrity? I was tempted to do Celebrity Mastermind but I couldn't think of a specialist subject."
Trivia: Benton is a die-hard supporter of Middlesbrough FC and has featured in the club's official season ticket advertising campaign.
Hannah Tointon (Actor) .. Joy
Born: December 28, 1987 in Southend
Best Known For: Hollyoaks.
Early-life: Hannah Marie Tointon was born in Southend on December 28, 1987 to Carol and Ken. Her sister Kara is also an actress. Hannah made her TV debut in CBBC sitcom Kerching! in 2003. Roles followed in Star, The Bill, Murder City and Dream Team.
Career: Tointon's big break came in 2007 when she began playing Katy Fox in Hollyoaks. She stayed in the show for a year. Since then, she has appeared in Doctors, The Children, The Inbetweeners, Switch, The Hour, Midsomer Murders and Call the Midwife. In April 2014, it was announced that Tointon will be starring alongside her sister in the third series of ITV drama Mr Selfridge.
Quote: "There is so much pressure on girls to look super-thin these days, it really is out of all control."
Trivia: Tointon won a British Soap Award in 2008 in the Spectacular Scene of the Year category. She shared the award with her Hollyoaks co-stars.
