Early-life:
Born September 12, 1972, in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, but later moved to Great Yarmouth. He played football at school, but a passion for swimming led to his success as a diver on the British National Diving Team. While training at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, he was spotted by a talent scout and became a model for the French Connection clothing company.
Career:
While modelling, he met then-unknown film-maker Guy Ritchie, who cast him in his first film, 1998's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which put them both on the showbiz map. Statham went on to star in Ritchie's follow-up movie Snatch, and then started forging a career in Hollywood. Although John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars was a flop, he soon proved to be one of Britain's most reliable action stars, thanks to hits such as The One, The Transporter and its sequel; The Italian Job; Cellular; Chaos; Crank; War, and The Bank Job. He was among the action star dream line-up in The Expendables and its sequels, and has several more films in production.

Early-life:
Matthew Avery Modine was born on March 22, 1959, in Loma Linda, California. He's the youngest of seven children - he has four brothers and two sisters. The family moved around a lot when he was younger due to his father's job as a drive-in movie operator. A documentary about the film Oliver! inspired him to become an actor. After moving to New York, he worked as a chef before taking lessons from famous drama coach Stella Adler.
Career:
Modine made his TV debut in 1982's Amy and the Angel. His first film, Baby It's You, followed a year later. Roles in Birdy and Mrs Soffel raised his profile, while 1987's Full Metal Jacket made him famous. Movies such as Married to the Mob, Memphis Belle, Pacific Heights, Short Cuts and The Browning Version came next. His other work includes Any Given Sunday, Hitler: The Rise of Evil, Funky Monkey, Transporter 2, Mary, Go Go Tales, The Trial and The Dark Knight Rises. On the stage he has appeared in Arthur Miller's Finishing the Picture, Miller's Resurrection Blues, and The Miracle Worker.

Early-life:
Flemyng was born in Putney, London, the son of Scottish film director Gordon Flemyng. He decided he wanted to become an actor after appearing in theatrical productions at his school. In the 1980s, he was involved with the National Youth Theatre and the political organisation the Young Socialists. In 1990 he was admitted to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where he was a classmate of Hermione Norris. Following his graduation from LAMDA in the early 1990s he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Career:
Flemyng was then a regular in the ITV drama series Doctor Finlay from 1993 to 1996. His first major cinema role was in Angela Pope's 1996 drama Hollow Reed, followed by a main role in Guy Ritchie's popular 1998 London gangster film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. He has since appeared in many box office successes, such as From Hell, the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The Transporter 2, Snatch and X-Men: First Class. In 2009, Flemyng joined the cast of the ITV science fiction cult drama series Primeval during its third series, as maverick ex-policeman Danny Quinn. More recently, he has starred in The Musketeers and The Missing.
