Charlton Heston (Actor) .. Capt Paul Blanchard
Born: October 04, 1923 in Evanston, Illinois
Best Known For: Playing a series of heroes in classic Hollywood films.
Early-life: Born John Charles Carter on October 4, 1923, in Evanston, Illinois. His father, Russell Carter, was a mill operator. His wife Lilla divorced him and wed mill-owner Chester Heston. The budding actor studied the classics as part of Northwestern University's drama course, gaining much-needed early experience in a radio performance of Peer Gynt. After his studies, he spent three years in the US Air Force during the Second World War.
Career: After the war, Heston worked as a model and honed his skills while running a theatre in Asheville, North Carolina. In 1947, he made his Broadway debut in Antony and Cleopatra. His first film was 1950's Dark City. Other major movies include Ben-Hur (for which he won an Oscar), Touch of Evil, The Big Country, The Greatest Story Ever Told, The Ten Commandments, Planet of the Apes and Earthquake. He also appeared in The Colbys, Wayne's World 2, and provided a voice for Cats and Dogs. Heston died of natural causes at his home in Beverly Hills on April 5, 2008, at the age of 84.

Trivia: Heston was president of the National Rifle Association from 1998 to 2003.
David Carradine (Actor) .. Capt Gates
Born: December 08, 1936 in California
Best Known For: Kung Fu and Kill Bill.
Early-life: Born John Arthur Carradine on December 8, 1936, in Hollywood. He was the eldest son of acclaimed character actor John Carradine. His half-brothers Michael Bowen and Keith and Robert Carradine, daughter Kansas, and nieces Ever Carradine and Martha Plimpton also went into show business. He studied music theory and composition at San Francisco State College, and began acting in student productions. After graduating he spent two years with a touring Shakespeare company before joining the Army.
Career: After being discharged from service, Carradine became a commercial artist in New York, then found fame on Broadway in a number of productions. He moved back to Hollywood in the mid-1960s. Little-seen projects such as TV series Shane and movie Bus Riley's Back in Town followed. He became a household name thanks to long-running programme Kung Fu, playing a role originally earmarked for Bruce Lee. The same year, 1972, he starred in Martin Scorsese's Boxcar Bertha. Films since include The Long Goodbye, Gray Lady Down, The Long Riders and Bird on a Wire before finding a new generation of fans in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies. He continued to act until his death in a Bangkok hotel room in 2009.

Trivia: Was divorced four times. He married his last wife, Annie Bierman, in 2004. He also lived with actress Barbara Hershey during the 1970s.
Stacy Keach (Actor) .. Capt Bennett
Born: June 02, 1941 in Savannah, Georgia
Best Known For: Playing TV detective Mike Hammer.
Early-life: Born Walter Stacy Keach Jr on June 2, 1941, in Georgia, USA. His father was also an actor. Keach made his stage debut playing Old King Cole at the age of six in a Texas school pageant. He graduated from Van Nuys High School and entered the University of California, Berkeley, in 1959. After studying at the Yale University School of Drama and at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, he made his professional debut in a version of Hamlet performed in New York's Central Park in 1964. His first Broadway appearance followed a year later.
Career: Keach's big-screen debut was in the film Island of Love in 1962. He then went on to star in such acclaimed offerings as The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, Fat City, The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, and Jesus of Nazareth. He has appeared in a host of cult movies, including The Long Riders, The Ninth Configuration, Nice Dreams and American History X. He played Mike Hammer in Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer and The New Mike Hammer on TV between 1984 and 1987. He returned to the role in 1997 in Mike Hammer, Private Eye. His appearance in the 1988 series Hemingway won him a Golden Globe Award, and he had a recurring role as Warden Henry Pope in acclaimed US drama Prison Break. He continues to pop up in films and TV series.
