Cat Simmons (Actor) .. DC Kezia Walker
Born: May 04, 1981 in Blackburn
Best Known For: Playing Kezia Walker in The Bill.
Early-life: Cat was born in Blackburn on May 4, 1981, the daughter of a singer and nurse. She trained with the Oldham Theatre Workshop and National Youth Music Theatre. Cat's first break came in 2005 when she had a recurring role in Channel 5 soap Family Affairs.
Career: Simmons is best known to TV audiences for playing Kezia Walker in The Bill between 2006 and 2009. Her other TV credits include Holby City, Doctors and Casualty. More recently, she appeared in BBC drama Ordinary Lies. She also has an extensive stage career, having starred in Whistle Down the Wind, Jesus Christ Superstar, Aladdin, Simply Heavenly, Hopelessly Devoted and Oliver!

Trivia: In 2005, Simmons collaborated with the group Three Levels on the track Rock U 2Nite.

Born: November 24, 1963 in London
Best Known For: The Bill and Loose Women.
Early-life: Born on November 24, 1963, in Elephant and Castle, London. She was raised by her mother Val, a solicitor's receptionist, after her father walked out on them; she met him again when she was 45. Thanks to her performances at the Italia Conti Stage School, she was encouraged to pursue a showbusiness career by her mum. At 11, she won a role in the stage production Annie, appeared in the TV drama Ballet Shoes and made the schools programme A Place Like Home.
Career: Maxwell's first big break came in the early 1980s, when she was picked to front youth programme No Limits. She also provided the voice of Kira in 1982's cult movie The Dark Crystal. A role in the film Remembrance followed, as did TV series Splash. She became a household name while appearing alongside Russ Abbot and Les Dennis in their comedy series. Her popularity led to her own show, and in 1993 she moved to America. Maxwell landed the role of Daphne in Frasier but, after criticising the scripts, was replaced by Jane Leeves. She returned to the UK where she worked on stage and appeared in In Deep, before joining The Bill as Sam Nixon in 2002. She has appeared as a regular contributor on Loose Women since 2009.

Born: July 06, 1966 in Brighton
Best Known For: Playing Milly in This Life.
Early-life: Amita Emmanuelle Dhiri was born Brighton on July 6, 1966. She has two younger brothers, Viney and Sanjay. Her mother is French and her father is a Ugandan Indian who was expelled from the country by Idi Amin. She speaks fluent French, took singing and dancing lessons from an early age, and is proficient in ballet and modern dance. Before studying at the London Drama Centre, she sang in a cabaret group, doing Tina Turner impressions.
Career: Started out in theatre, most notably in Twelfth Night in Bedford. Her first TV appearance was as Milly in 1996's This Life. The drama about young lawyers became a huge hit and she, along with co-stars Daniela Nardini, Jack Davenport and Andrew Lincoln, were hailed as part of an exciting new generation of British actors. She says: "Milly has helped me win roles that aren't written with Asian actresses in mind. But it's always going to be difficult to get equal treatment." Dhiri then took guest roles in Casualty and McCallum, before going back to the stage. In 1999, she returned to TV in nuclear disaster drama The Last Train. More recently, she has starred in Silent Witness, Judge John Deed, Holby City, The Bill and Talking to the Dead.

Trivia: After college, Dhiri's first job was with a man who wanted to make a Hindi version of Grease.
