Feeling guilty about refusing to provide protection for the victim, Max resolves to bring his colleague back alive, but an undercover operation to nail the Jenson gang goes awry and Millie is left alone in the hands of the kidnappers. Born: November 27, 1981 in Chigwell
Best Known For: Footballers' Wives.
Early-life: Gary Edward Lucy was born in Chigwell, Essex, on 27 November, 1981, to parents Rosemary and Gary Sr. From a very early age he loved football and has been a lifelong Arsenal fan. He showed a lot of natural flair as a player during his schooling, but despite trying out for both Tottenham Hotspur and Watford, he decided to pursue acting.
Career: Gary made his screen debut in Sky One's Dream Team back in 1997, but it was his performance as Luke Morgan in Hollyoaks that shot him to fame two years later. The character was at the centre of several important plots, including a controversial male rape storyline, and he became a firm favourite with fans. In 2002 he moved to ITV1 to appear in three seasons of the glossy drama Footballers' Wives alongside Gillian Taylforth and Zoe Lucker. The feature-length Ray Winstone drama She's Gone followed in 2004, and a year later joined the cast of The Bill. In 2010, he finished runner-up in the fifth series of Dancing on Ice. In 2012, he joined the cast of EastEnders as Danny Pennant. He stayed with the show until February 2014.

Best Known For: Trollied and Babylon.
Early-life: Nick was born in London on March 20, 1982. After attending London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), he made his TV debut in The Bill. He then played a camp fashion designer in BBC drama Material Girl.
Career: Blood went on to star in Sky1 sitcom Trollied, E4 drama Misfits, BBC3 sitcom Him & Her and ITV mystery drama The Bletchley Circle. More recently, he appeared in the Channel 4 drama Babylon. His stage credits include playing Stuart Sutcliffe in Backbeat.
Quote: On his time at LAMDA: 'I learnt a lot, had a huge amount of fun, met brilliant people and was given the opportunity to do what I love everyday of the week.'

Best Known For: Playing nurse Tina Seabrook in Casualty
Early-life: Born February 10, 1975, in Edinburgh. When she was two the family moved to Norfolk, where she grew up with her older sister and brother. At 16, she enrolled in the Italia Conti Stage School, and took on a variety of jobs, including silver-service waitress and a story-telling raccoon in a theme park. Her first small-screen appearance was in the drama No More Dying Then.
Career: Claire lost out to Martine McCutcheon for the role of Tiffany in EastEnders, before landing her big break on Casualty in 1997, playing vulnerable nurse Tina Seabrook until 2000. She played Detective Mel Silver in Waking the Dead from 2000 to 2004, then insisted her character be killed off, before pursuing other projects, including Secret Smile, Perfect Day and Love Lies Bleeding. In 2007, Claire completed her first movie, an independent film called Bad Day. In August last year, she joined the cast of The Bill, playing Sergeant Rachel Weston and after its demise, has continued to be a sought-after character actor.

Best Known For: Playing Kezia Walker in The Bill.
Early-life: Cat was born in Blackburn on May 4, 1981, the daughter of a singer and nurse. She trained with the Oldham Theatre Workshop and National Youth Music Theatre. Cat's first break came in 2005 when she had a recurring role in Channel 5 soap Family Affairs.
Career: Simmons is best known to TV audiences for playing Kezia Walker in The Bill between 2006 and 2009. Her other TV credits include Holby City, Doctors and Casualty. More recently, she appeared in BBC drama Ordinary Lies. She also has an extensive stage career, having starred in Whistle Down the Wind, Jesus Christ Superstar, Aladdin, Simply Heavenly, Hopelessly Devoted and Oliver!

Trivia: In 2005, Simmons collaborated with the group Three Levels on the track Rock U 2Nite.

Early-life: Alex Walkinshaw was born in Barking, Essex, on 5 October 1974. A keen swimmer as a child, he used to train five days a week and compete in various competitions, finding it helped his asthma. An energetic, extroverted child, he studied drama as an outlet for his creativity. After studying drama at his secondary school, Alex soon found he had a real talent and joined a Saturday drama class. Encouraged by his teachers, Alex was elated to be accepted into the Sylvia Young Theatre School and later the London Dance Studios.
Career: His first TV appearance was at the age of 12 as an extra in Grange Hill. From 1992 to 1993 he appeared in the sitcom Side by Side. He first appeared in The Bill as a guest star in 1992, 1993 and 1995, before joining as a regular cast member in 1999. He played PC Dale Smith, better known as 'Smithy'. He left the show in 2001, only to return in 2003 when his character was promoted to Sergeant. After a spell in Waterloo Road, Walkinshaw joined the cast of Casualty in 2012 as senior staff nurse Adrian Fletcher. He took his character to Holby City in August 2014.
Quote: On his move from Casualty to Holby City: 'I was really quite nervous when I first started, but everyone has been so welcoming and friendly that I feel my transition has been fairly smooth.'
Trivia: In 2007, he took part in The Weakest Link and won £9,450 for Essex-based charity called 'Kids in Need'.
