Best Known For: Coming from obscurity to being the biggest name in comedy seemingly overnight
Early-life: Born in 1976, in South London to a dancer and comedy writer Ray Cameron, McIntyre had a thoroughly middle-class upbringing that he describes as being entirely short of misery or material. He did his first open mic spot in 2001 having dropped out of a biology degree at Edinburgh University.
Career: Hailed as the best new stand-up to emerge in a decade, Michael has taken the comedy world by storm. He delivered electrifying sets on both We Are Not Amused (Prince Charles's 60th birthday celebrations on ITV1) and the Royal Variety Performance (BBC One), plus a stand-out performance as host on the first episode of BBC One's Live at the Apollo, leading to the Comedy Roadshow vehicle.

Trivia: His debut DVD release, Michael McIntyre Live & Laughing, became the fastest selling debut stand-up DVD of all time, selling more than 600,000 copies.

Born: January 21, 1952 in London
Best Known For: Her strict discipline on reality show Ladette to Lady.
Early-life: Rosemary was born on January 21, 1951, in London to Jewish parents. She kicked off her cooking career working for Pierre Koffmann and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
Career: Shrager was head chef at Amhuinnsuidhe Castle until 2002. She became known to TV audiences after appearances on Ladette to Lady and Soapstar Superchef. She has also appeared on the small screen in Rosemary: Queen of the Kitchen, Kitchen Showdown with Rosemary Shrager, and Rosemary Shrager's School for Cooks. She presents the cookery slot on The Alan Titchmarsh Show. In 2012, she was a contestant on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Trivia: Away from TV, Shrager has her own cookery school in Kent.

Best Known For: Being a comedian and a regular on The Last Leg.
Early-life: Joshua Widdicombe was born in Dartmoor on April 8, 1983. He has a brother, Henry. Josh went on to study linguistics at the University of Manchester. He began performing stand-up in 2008 and made it to the final of So You Think You're Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival the same year.
Career: In 2011, Widdicombe performed his debut solo show in Edinburgh and was nominated for an Edinburgh Comedy Award in the best newcomer category. Since 2012, he has been a regular on Channel 4's The Last Leg, alongside Adam Hills and Alex Brooker. He has also appeared on Mock the Week, QI and Have I Got News for You.

Trivia: In December 2013, Widdicombe won his edition of Celebrity Mastermind - his specialist subject was Blur.

Born: May 29, 1975 in Leeds
Best Known For: Being a member of the Spice Girls.
Early-life: Melanie Janine Brown was born in Leeds on May 29, 1975. She studied performing arts at Intake High School in Leeds. She started her music career in a girl band called Touch, which went on to become known as the Spice Girls.
Career: On June 7, 1996, the Spice Girls released their debut single, Wannabe. It reached number one in 29 countries. It was followed by nine further number one singles from their albums Spice, Spiceworld, and Forever. Mel's nickname within the group was Scary Spice. Mel released her debut solo album, Hot, in November 2000, a month before the Spice Girls' final album, Forever, was released. The girls took a break from the Spice Girls in December 2000 to concentrate on their solo careers. Since then, Mel has presented a number of shows, including This Is My Moment, and Miss Universe 2008, and appeared as a judge on The X Factor Australia, America's Got Talent, and Stepping Out. The Spice Girls reunited for a one-off tour in 2007, and performed at the London 2012 Olympic closing ceremony. She joined the judging panel of the UK version of The X Factor in 2014.
