Mark Radcliffe (Guest)
Born: June 29, 1958 in Bolton
Best Known For: Presenting a Radio 1 show with Marc 'Lard' Riley
Early-life: Born in Bolton on June 29, 1958. In his teens, he harboured dreams of musical stardom and was a drummer in numerous bands. He studied English, American Studies and Classical Civilisation at Manchester University. After graduation, he got a job at local station Picadilly Radio, before moving to Radio 1 in 1983, where he produced live sessions for John Peel's show.
Career: When Radio 5 was launched in 1990, Radcliffe began presenting an evening music show, Hit the North. In 1993, he and co-presenter Marc 'Lard' Riley, were given the night-time slot on Radio 1, which quickly gained a devoted cult following. In 1997, the duo had a brief, ill-fated stint on the Breakfast Show, before being shifted to the afternoon, where they proved much more popular and picked up three Sony Awards. Radcliffe moved to Radio 2 in 2004, where he currently co-hosts an evening show with Stuart Maconie. Away from the airwaves, he's presented the TV programmes The White Room, Match of the Nineties and Next!, written the memoir Showbusiness; The Diary of a Rock and Roll Nobody and the novel Northern Sky, released two albums with his spoof band the Shirehorses and won Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes impersonating Shane McGowan.

Trivia: In 2009, Radcliffe reunited with Marc Riley to make a series of radio adverts for Manchester City F.C. that were broadcast in North West England.
Edith Bowman (Guest)
Born: January 15, 1974 in Anstruther, Fife
Best Known For: Her radio shows.
Early-life: Edith was born in Anstruther, Scotland, in 1974. She worked in her parents hotel before going to college and studying for a degree in Communication Studies at Edinburgh's Queen Margaret College. For the following two years Edith worked in a local radio station as both a producer and presenter, dreaming of hitting the big time. Edith joined Radio 1 in 2003 and her first show for the network was the Colin and Edith show with Colin Murray.
Career: During a wide and varied career, Bowman has travelled to Cambodia as part of BBC's series Saving Planet Earth, hosted the Scottish Baftas and co- presented Live Earth alongside Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross. She's as at home interviewing the likes of Liam Gallagher, Muse, Robbie Williams, Kylie and U2, to presenting BBC2's Rough Guide To The World, Channel 4's breakfast show RISE, and regular film specials for Channel 4 and ITV. She is the yearly host of the BBC's coverage of Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds festival, T In The Park, Radio 1's One Big Weekends and the Electric Proms.

Paul Martin (Contributor)
Born: January 05, 1959 in Teddington, Middlesex
Best Known For: Presenting Flog It!.
Early-life: Born on January 5, 1959 in Teddington, Middlesex. Paul moved with his family to Cornwall and was educated at Falmouth Grammar School before going on to study art and woodwork at Falmouth College of Arts. After he graduated, Paul got a job as a scenic painter at Pinewood Studios for two years.
Career: Martin began developing a career as an antiques trader and dealer. At age 25, he had a stall on Portobello Road in London. He also worked as an antiques props stylist for such magazines as New Woman and Marie Claire, while he also designed antique sets for such TV shows as BBC One's The Clothes Show and Granada TV. Martin then went on to run an antique furniture shop in Marlborough, Wiltshire called The Table Gallery. He was discovered by BBC Bristol when he was interviewed about his interest in oak furniture. After that, he was signed up to present Flog It!. Since then, he has presenter a number of other TV programmes, including I Never Knew That About Britain, Summer Diaries and Trust Me, I'm a Dealer.

Trivia: He worked as a professional drummer for such bands as Average White Band, the Quireboys and Dogs D'Amour in the 1990s.
