Early-life:
Joshua David Duhamel was born in Minot, North Dakota, on November 14, 1972 to Bonnie and Larry. He has three younger sisters, Ashlee, Mckenzee and Kassidy. He attended Minot State University and played for the university's American football team. In 1997, he won a male model of the year competition, beating Ashton Kutcher.
Career:
Duhamel's first taste of acting came as an extra in a number of music videos. In 1999, he began training with Scott Sedita Acting Studios and later that year, he won a part in daytime soap All My Children. Between 2003 and 2008, he played Danny McCoy in prime-time drama Las Vegas. His film credits include the Transformers movies, The Romantics (2010), When in Rome (2010), New Year's Eve (2011) and Movie 43 (2013).
