Early-life:
Taylor Daniel Lautner was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on February 11, 1992. He has a younger sister, Makena. He took up karate at the age of six and two years later, he represented his country and became the Junior World Forms and Weapons champion. Alongside his love of martial arts, Taylor developed a keen interest in acting. At the age of 10, his family relocated to Los Angeles to make it easier for him to attend auditions.
Career:
In 2001, Lautner made his small-screen debut in the TV movie Shadow Fury. He then had guest roles on a number of shows, including Summerland, The Bernie Mac Show and My Wife and Kids. He also lent his voice to characters in What's New, Scooby-Doo?, Duck Dodgers and Danny Phantom. His big break came in 2008 when he played Jacob Black in the blockbuster movie Twilight. Made for $37million, it grossed more than $390million worldwide. He reprised the role in three more Twilight movies. The Twilight franchise grossed more than $3.3billion worldwide. More recently, Lautner has appeared in Abduction (2011) and BBC Three comedy Cuckoo.

Early-life:
Kristin Landen Davis was born in Boulder, Colorado, on February 24, 1965. Her parents divorced soon after she was born, but her psychology professor stepfather adopted her when he wed her mother in 1968. The family later moved to Columbia, South Carolina. She was inspired to become an actress after watching a production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves when she was 10. On leaving high school, she attended Rutgers University and moved to New York after graduation, where she gained work in theatre and commercials.
Career:
Davis's movie debut was 1987's Doom Asylum. Film and TV roles followed before she found fame as devious Brooke Armstrong on Melrose Place. She appeared in the Hugh Grant flop Nine Months (1995) but in 1998 she landed the role that made her famous, Sex and the City's Charlotte, an art dealer who struggles with her inhibitions as she dabbles in New York's singles scene. She played the character in 94 episodes over six seasons and two movies. She currently stars in Bad Teacher, a TV series based on the 2011 film.
