Early-life: Joshua Ryan Hutcherson was born in Union, Kentucky, on October 12, 1992 to Michelle and Chris. He has a younger brother, Connor. In 2002, Josh began auditioning for TV pilots in Los Angeles. He starred in two pilots before appearing in an episode of ER. A year later, he played the lead role in the TV movie Miracle Dogs. As a child actor, he went on to appear in a number of Hollywood films.
Career: Hutcherson's first came to prominence in 2007 when he starred alongside AnnaSophia Robb in Walt Disney's hugely popular fantasy drama Bridge to Terabithia. Roles followed in Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008), The Kids Are All Right (2010) and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012). His big break came in 2012 when he landed the role of Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games (2012). The film went on to gross more than $690million worldwide. The sequel, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), proved even more popular, earning more than $864million. His other movie credits include The Forger (2012), Red Dawn (2012) and Escobar: Paradise Lost (2014).

Early-life: Timothy Francis Robbins was born in West Covina, California, on October 16, 1958. He has a brother and two sisters. The son of a folk singer and an actress, Tim was interested in politics and theatre at a young age, and at 12 was already a member of the Theatre for the New City, an avant-garde acting troupe. He studied drama at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating in 1981, the same year he founded The Actors' Gang, which specialised in radical political observations.
Career: Robbins began appearing in films and on TV in the early 1980s before hitting the big time in 1988 baseball movie Bull Durham. He had a successful streak in the early 90s thanks to such films as The Player, Short Cuts, Pret-a-Porter, The Shawshank Redemption and Arlington Road. He's also a talented director, with Bob Roberts and Dead Man Walking among his credits. He won a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for Mystic River - at 6ft 5 he is the tallest-ever winner of an acting Oscar. His more recent work includes Green Lantern, TV movie Cinema Verite, Thanks for Sharing and Life of Crime.

Early-life: Kristen Jaymes Stewart was born in Los Angeles on April 9, 1990. Her father, John, is a stage manager and TV producer. Her mother, Jules, is a script supervisor and a director. She has an older brother, Cameron, and two adopted brothers, Dana and Taylor. Kristen's acting career began when she was eight after an agent saw her perform in her school's Christmas play. Her first role was a non-speaking part in Disney Channel TV movie The Thirteenth Year in 1999.
Career: Stewart followed up her debut with small roles in The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, The Safety of Objects, Panic Room and Cold Creek Manor. Her first starring role came in the children's action comedy Catch That Kid in 2004. She went on to star in Undertow, Fierce People, Zathura: A Space Adventure, Into the Wild and Jumper. Her big break came in 2007 when she was cast alongside Robert Pattinson in Twilight, a film based on Stephenie Meyer's vampire romance novel. She went on to star in the Twilight sequels The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Down - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Down - Part 2. Outside of the Twilight franchise, Stewart has starred in Adventureland, On the Road, Snow White and the Huntsman and Still Alice.

Early-life: Jonathan Kolia Favreau was born in Flushing, Queens, New York, on October 19, 1966, the only child of two teachers. His mother died of leukemia in 1979. Jon attended Queens College but dropped out a few credits short of completing his degree. In the summer of 1988, he moved to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy. He performed at the ImprovOlympic and Improv Institute.
Career: Favreau's first film role was alongside Sean Astin in Rudy (1993). A year later he appeared in an episode of Seinfeld. In 1996, he wrote and starred in Swingers (1996) alongside Vince Vaughn. In 1997 he had a recurring role as Monica Geller's boyfriend Pete Becker in Friends. In 2001, he teamed up again with Vince Vaughn in Made (2001), Favreau's directorial debut. Two years later, he enjoyed his first big success as a director for Elf. Since then, Favreau has continued to act, write and direct. He went on to direct Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), and Cowboys & Aliens (2011). More recently, he wrote, directed and starred in Chef (2014).
