Career: Lawrence's first TV role was in the comedy The Bill Engvall Show, which aired for three seasons between 2007 and 2009. Her big break came in 2010 when she was cast in the lead role in Winter's Bone, which landed her an Academy Award nomination. Since then, she has starred in X-Men: First Class (2011), the hugely popular The Hunger Games (2012), House at the End of the Street (2012) and Silver Linings Playbook (2012), which turned out to be an Academy Award-winning performance.
