Lee Majors (Actor) .. Col Steve Austin
Born: April 23, 1939 in Michigan
Best Known For: The Six Million Dollar Man.
Early-life: Born Harvey Lee Yeary on April 23, 1939, in Michigan, USA. Both his parents had been killed in separate accidents by the time he was two. Lee moved to Kentucky after being adopted by his uncle and aunt, and at school became a star athlete in track, basketball, and American football. He then won an athletic scholarship to Indiana University, but a back injury sustained while playing American football prompted him to try acting. He made his stage debut in the play Seven Husbands with then-wife, Kathy.
Career: Majors made a string of appearances in TV shows and films such as Will Penny, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and The Virginian. He spent four years in Western show The Big Valley, but it was The Six Million Dollar Man that made him a star in 1973. The series ran until 1978, and spawned spin-off The Bionic Woman, as well as a range of merchandise. Majors reprised the role of Steve Austin in 1987 for the first of three bionic-themed TV movies. He scored another small-screen hit in 1981 as crime-busting stuntman Colt Seavers in The Fall Guy and has since appeared in such movies as Scrooged and Big Fat Liar, and sitcom The Game.
Quote: 'I was never into my looks. What's important to me is my health and family.'
Trivia: In 2003, Majors had heart bypass surgery.
Richard Anderson (Actor) .. Oscar Goldman
Britt Ekland (Actor) .. Katrina Volana
Born: October 06, 1942 in Stockholm, Sweden
Best Known For: Her high-profile relationships.
Early-life: Born Britt-Marie Eklund on October 6, 1942, in Stockholm, Sweden. She describes her mother as a beautiful woman who lived for her children. Her father, she has claimed, was a womaniser. She attended drama school and joined a travelling theatre troupe in her teens. She left Sweden at the age of 19 after making a handful of Swedish movies and eventually became a star in Italian films before heading to England.
Career: Despite some decent film roles, Ekland became famous for being married to Peter Sellers, and appeared with him in After the Fox and The Bobo. She had a small but memorable role in 1971 cult classic Get Carter. Two years later, she made The Wicker Man, which remains one of her most popular movies. Her Bond girl role in 1974's The Man with the Golden Gun sealed her reputation as a sex symbol and won her a lifetime of publicity. Few of her roles since have been memorable. She began appearing in British pantos in 1992 and has written a warts-and-all autobiography. She appeared in the 10th series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2010.
Quote: On her Bond character, Mary Goodnight: 'It was one of the most enjoyable things I've ever done, but it did nothing for my career.'
Trivia: In addition to Swedish, Ekland is fluent in English, French and German.
Alan Oppenheimer (Actor) .. Dr Rudy Wells
