Christian Bale (Actor) .. Russell Baze
Born: January 30, 1974 in Haverfordwest
Best Known For: Portraying Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy.
Early-life: Christian Charles Philip Bale was born in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, on January 30, 1974. He has three older sisters. His father was a commercial pilot, his mother a circus dancer. Performing runs in the family - his grandfather was a comedian and children's entertainer, while his great uncle was an actor and John Wayne's stand-in for two movies. Christian was raised in England, Portugal and California, and made his acting debut in a cereal commercial in 1983.
Career: At the age of 10, Christian made his West End debut in The Nerd, opposite Rowan Atkinson. He was hand-picked from 4,000 auditionees to take the lead role in Steven Spielberg's Empire of the Sun in 1987. Unlike many child stars, he has successfully made the transition to serious grown-up actor. Films since include Little Women, The Portrait of a Lady, Velvet Goldmine, American Psycho, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Shaft, Reign of Fire, Equilibrium and The Machinist. His status soared after playing Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins and its sequels. His other recent films have included The Prestige, 3:10 to Yuma, Terminator Salvation, Public Enemies, The Fighter (for which he won an Oscar) and American Hustle.
Quote: "What the hell kind of man decides to dress up as a bat and run around the city? There's got to be something a little bit loose in there."
Trivia: Bale lost a more than four stone to play the emaciated lead character in The Machinist, then had to bulk up immediately for his role in Batman Begins.
Woody Harrelson (Actor) .. Harlan DeGroat
Born: July 23, 1961 in Midland, Texas
Best Known For: His starring role in Cheers and a string of hit movies.
Early-life: Born Woodrick Tracy Harrelson on July 23, 1961, in Midland, Texas, but grew up in Lebanon, Ohio. His father, Charles, has twice been found guilty of committing murder for money - once in 1968, the second time in 1978. He is also believed to have been one of several so-called hobos escorted from the infamous grassy knoll in Dallas immediately after JFK's assassination in 1963. Harrelson gained a degree in theatre arts and English from Hanover College in Indiana before moving to New York.
Career: Harrelson was an understudy for Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues on Broadway and appeared in various small productions before gaining the role of dimwitted barman Woody Boyd in Cheers in 1985. His TV commitments made it difficult for him to gain good movie roles, although he did star in the hit White Men Can't Jump in 1992. When the sitcom finished a year later, he concentrated on films, and has since starred in Indecent Proposal, Natural Born Killers, The People vs Larry Flynt, Welcome to Sarajevo, The Thin Red Line, A Scanner Darkly, No Country for Old Men, The Messenger, Zombieland, 2012 and The Hunger Games movies. In 2014, he starred alongside Matthew McConaughey in HBO crime drama True Detective.
Quote: "I like crying. And I not only wanna cry with other people, I wanna just split myself down the middle and open my guts and just throw everything out!"
Trivia: Harrelson has had a few brushes with the law.

It was here that she studied ballet, jazz and modern Latin dance at the ECOS Espacio de Danza Academy. Her family returned to Queens after her second year in high school.
Career: In 1995, Saldana began acting with the FACES theatre group in Brooklyn. She used her dance training in her first film role, playing a ballet dancer in Center Stage (2000). Roles followed in Crossroads (2002), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), and The Terminal (2004), but she didn't become widely known until she starred in the hugely popular Avatar (2009). Best Known For: Playing the Green Goblin in Spider-Man.
Early-life: Born William Dafoe on July 22, 1955, in Wisconsin, he picked up the nickname Willem in high school. He was the son of a surgeon and a nurse. He's the second youngest of eight children, which he believes may have fuelled his desire to act, as he was used to fighting for attention. After leaving school, Willem went on to study drama at the University of Wisconsin, but felt he didn't fit in there, and dropped out early to join an experimental acting group Theatre X.
Career: Willem toured with Theatre X for four years, before joining avant garde New York company The Performance Group. He made his first venture into film acting with a role in Heaven's Gate, but was cut from the finished movie. He went on to win parts in To Live and Die in LA and The Loveless, but his big break came with Platoon, which earned him an Oscar nomination. He also made headlines in 1988 when he took the lead role in the controversial The Last Temptation of Christ. Since then, his movies have included Mississippi Burning, Born on the Fourth of July, The English Patient, Shadow of the Vampire (for which he received another Oscar nod) and Spider-Man. His more recent films include Antichrist, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, Daybreakers and Miral.
