Kevin Costner (Actor) .. Jericho Stewart
Born: January 18, 1955 in California
Best Known For: Dances with Wolves.
Early-life: Born in Lynwood, California, on January 18, 1955, the third child of Bill and Sharon Costner. His dad's job as a telephone engineer required the family to move regularly, which unsettled the youngster and led to him being a daydreamer. He claims he wasn't gifted academically, but he eventually went to California State University to study marketing and finance. A chance meeting aboard a plane with Richard Burton inspired him to turn his back on a business career and pursue acting.
Career: Costner believed his break would come in 1983's The Big Chill - but he was cut from the final film. However, director Lawrence Kasdan cast him in Silverado, which boosted his career. His first major leading role arrived in 1987 in The Untouchables. Since then he has picked up a Best Director Oscar for Dances with Wolves, and had box-office hits with The Bodyguard, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Field of Dreams and JFK. He has struggled to find successful projects in recent years, but Open Range in 2003, which he starred in as well as directing and producing, was a return to form. He won a 2012 Emmy Award for his role in miniseries Hatfields & McCoys. He's also appeared in Mr Brooks, The Guardian and Man of Steel.
Quote: "Real heroes are men who fall and fail and are flawed - but win out in the end because they've stayed true to their ideals and beliefs and commitments."
Trivia: Away from acting, Costner is a keen golfer and plays in a country music band.
Gary Oldman (Actor) .. Quaker Wells
Born: March 21, 1958 in London
Best Known For: Being able to tackle any role.
Early-life: Gary Leonard Oldman was born on March 21, 1958, in New Cross, London. He was raised by his mother and two sisters (one of whom is EastEnders' Laila Morse) after his alcoholic father left home when Gary was aged seven. A young Oldman toyed with becoming a musician, but was inspired to take up acting after watching Malcolm McDowell in the movie The Raging Moon. He was turned down by Rada, but gained a place at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, before honing his skills with Greenwich Young People's Theatre.
Career: Following a successful spell on stage he turned to movies, making a massive impact as Sid Vicious in Sid and Nancy in 1986, and Prick Up Your Ears a year later. Alcoholism threatened his career, but he has now quit booze. His roles include playing Lee Harvey Oswald in JFK, the title role in Bram Stoker's Dracula, and Mason Verger in Hannibal. Other projects include Lost in Space, Leon, and The Fifth Element. His directorial debut, the acclaimed Nil By Mouth, was a heart-breaking, semi-autobiographical movie about his childhood. Oldman suffered a career slump around the Millennium, when he concentrated more on raising his young family than he did on acting. But he came back stronger than ever with roles in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Tinker Tailor Solider Spy (for which he was Oscar nominated) and the Batman franchise.
Quote: "I don't think Hollywood knows what to do with me. I would imagine that when it comes to romantic comedies, my name would be pretty low down on the list."
Trivia: In 2001, he described himself as a recovering alcoholic.
Tommy Lee Jones (Actor) .. Dr Franks
Born: September 15, 1946 in San Saba, Texas

Career: Jones landed an agent and a role in a Broadway production of A Patriot for Me just 10 days after graduating from Harvard in 1969. A year later he made his film debut in Love Story, based on Erich Segal's novel of the same name. Segal claimed he based the lead character of Oliver (played by Ryan O'Neal) on Jones and Gore. Jones then spent four years in soap opera One Life to Live. The film Coal Miner's Daughter made critics sit up and notice him in 1980. Acclaimed performances in Lonesome Dove, The Fugitive, JFK and Men in Black followed. Other well-received projects include No Country for Old Men, In the Valley of Elah (for which he received an Oscar nomination), Lincolm and The Homesman.
