Kim Delaney (Actor) .. Samantha Hill
Born: November 29, 1961 in Philadelphia
Best Known For: Streetwise detective Diane Russell in NYPD Blue.
Early-life: Born in November 1961 in Philadelphia to parents Jack and Joan, Kim grew up in the Roxborough district of the town, along with her four brothers. It was during her time at Hallahan Catholic Girls' School that she joined the Elite Modelling Agency, but following her graduation moved to New York. She continued her modelling work, but also chose to study acting under the tutelage of renowned coach Bill Esper.
Career: In 1981 she began a three-year stint on the soap All My Children, but a series of disappointing movie outings prompted her to return to small-screen work with a role in the series LA Law which ran until 1994. She appeared in a series of mostly forgettable films, but 1995 saw her take on the part of alcoholic detective Diane Russell on the police drama NYPD Blue, receiving an Emmy in 1997, before leaving in 2001. A minor part in Brian De Palma's Mission to Mars gave her big-screen success, while subsequent TV roles came in the form of the short-lived Philly and CSI: Miami. In 2004, Delaney starred in the dramatic miniseries 10.5.
Quote: "I know how guys talk, so I'm not easily offended. Guys can fight and be best friends five minutes later. Women have to air it out, hold on to it, work on it."
Trivia: Delaney was arrested for drink driving in Malibu in 2002 and given two years probation and a $300 fine.
Beau Bridges (Actor) .. President Hollister
Born: December 09, 1941 in Los Angeles
Best Known For: Being Jeff's older sibling.
Early-life: Born Lloyd Vernet Bridges III on December 9, 1941, in Hollywood. As a result of the Pearl Harbor attacks two days earlier, he was delivered by candlelight. His parents, actors Lloyd Bridges and Dorothy Dean Bridges, started calling him Beau after Ashley Wilkes's son in Gone with the Wind, a novel they were reading at the time. Bridges' younger siblings are brother Jeff and sister Lucinda. He had roles in several movies as a child before going to university, although he later dropped out to concentrate on acting.
Career: Beau gained his first major role in 1967's The Incident, and followed it with leading roles in Gaily, Gaily and The Landlord before settling for smaller, more interesting character parts. Notable films include Two Minute Warning, The Fifth Musketeer, Silver Dream Racer, The Hotel New Hampshire and The Fabulous Baker Boys, in which he co-starred with brother Jeff. He has also worked extensively on TV, winning numerous Emmys and Golden Globes for his work in The Second Civil War, The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Mom and Without Warning: The James Brady Story. He appeared in American sitcom My Name Is Earl, playing the titular character's father. More recently, he has played a recurring role in the drama Masters of Sex and a lead role in sitcom The Millers.
Quote: "I just feel that scary rides and playing games in the dark are what you want when you're a kid. Then when you grow up, watching thriller movies takes their place. I guess they're a safe way for folks to put themselves in scary situations to see how they would feel."
Trivia: Bridges was scouted by a number of NBA teams in his youth.
Dean Cain (Actor) .. Brad Malloy
Born: July 31, 1966 in Mt Clemens, Michigan
Best Known For: Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Early-life: Born Dean George Tanaka on July 31, 1966, in Mt Clemens, Michigan. His mother, actress Sharon Thomas, divorced his father before Dean was born. Three years later she married director Chris Cain, who adopted him and his older brother, Roger. He also has a half-sister, Krisinda. The family moved to Malibu, where Cain first showed a passion for sport. After graduating from Santa Monica High School, he was offered 17 athletic scholarships from universities. He opted for Princeton, where he majored in history. He signed for the Buffalo Bills American football team, but a severe injury ended his professional career.
Career: Cain appeared in three movies directed by his father, but gave up acting during his studies. After the end of his football career, he dabbled in scriptwriting, making ends meet by appearing in commercials. This led to the TV movie Christine Cromwell: Things That Go Bump in the Night, and guest parts on shows such as A Different World and Beverly Hills 90210. His big break came in 1993 when he landed the role of Clark Kent in TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. This updated version of the classic comic-book story was a global hit and aired for four years. He also wrote two episodes of the show. His career since then has largely consisted of roles in little-seen movies and guest appearances in small-screen dramas. In early 2016, he was a contestant on Channel 4's sporting reality show The Jump.
Quote: "Going to Princeton benefited me because I can write, and that really makes my career different from most actors."
Trivia: Cain has reportedly said he would rather appear in subpar films than be unemployed.
Oliver Hudson (Actor) .. Will Malloy
