Career: Like bread and butter, Giedroyc and Sue Perkins go well together - in fact, they're almost inseparable in professional terms. They were a hit at the Edinburgh Festival in 1993, and went on to write scripts for French and Saunders before presenting comedy chat show Light/Late Lunch and RI:SE. She was also in the children's sketch show Sorry I've Got No Head. More recently she has scored another hit with The Great British Bake-Off, alongside Sue, and daytime ITV show, Mel and Sue. Her radio work has included The 4 O'Clock Show on Radio 4 Extra.

Career: Perkins became president of the Cambridge Footlights in 1990, and in 1993 was shortlisted (with Giedroyc) for the Best Newcomer Award at Edinburgh. After writing for French & Saunders they hosted Channel 4's Light Lunch, and a teatime version, Late Lunch, as well as breakfast show RI:SE. Solo, Perkins appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2002. In 2005, she premiered her first one-woman show at the Edinburgh Fringe, which then toured the country. The Supersizers concept launched in 2007, and proved popular with viewers. She also won reality show Maestro, has made numerous appearances on panel quiz shows and was reunited with Mel for the hugely successful Great British Bake Off. Her sitcom Heading Out premiered in early 2013.

Career: Hollywood went on to become head baker at a number of hotels, including The Dorchester, Chester Grosvenor and Spa and the Clivedon Hotel. He began making a number of guest appearances on TV shows such as The Generation Game, This Morning, and The Alan Titchmarsh Show. His big break came in 2010 when he started working alongside fellow judge Mary Berry on popular BBC Two baking show The Great British Bake Off. In May 2013, he began appearing on US TV as a judge on The American Baking Competition.

Career: Berry moved to London aged 21 and landed a job at the Dutch Dairy Bureau; she later persuaded her boss to pay for her course at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. She went on to work for various companies, including a PR firm and magazines such as Housewife and Ideal Home. She published her first cookbook in 1970; she's since written more than 70 titles. In 1994, Berry launched her own product range with her daughter Annabel. Among the programmes she's appeared on are Good Afternoon! (1973), Cooking the Books (2007) and, of course, The Great British Bake off (2007 onwards), which introduced her to a new generation of food-lovers.
