Alphy attempts to cook a romantic dinner for Meg with Mrs C's help, but she doesn't show any signs of leaving once Meg turns up. When the two of them get a moment alone, they make a pact that should this evening be a disaster, they'll agree to part ways amicably. Mrs C once again interrupts - the Reverend Lane, the vicar who tried to replace Alphy, is outside and seeking sanctuary with a woman he claims is his niece. Soon enough, more strangers arrive with Geordie in hot pursuit

Early-life:
Born Robson Golightly Green in Hexham, Northumberland, on December 18, 1964, the son of a miner. He has two sisters and a brother. As a child, he harboured ambitions to become a pilot in the RAF and joined the Air Training Corps, but after leaving school, he took a draughtsman's apprenticeship at a shipbuilder's yard instead. However, after appearing in various amateur dramatic productions, he quit his job to take up acting full time.
Career:
Robson started out at Newcastle's Live Theatre, and was spotted in BBC production A Night on the Tyne, which led to a regular role in Casualty. He then spent four years in Soldier Soldier, during which he began a successful singing partnership with co-star Jerome Flynn. The pair also starred together in Ain't Misbehavin' in 1997. Other projects include The Student Prince, Touching Evil, Grafters, Northern Lights, Wire in the Blood, Close and True, Being Human and Waterloo Road. A keen fisherman, he has filmed several series of Extreme Fishing with Robson Green, which has taken him across the globe. He also has a production company, Coastal.

Born on October 19, 1968 in Ware, Hertfordshire to Hazel and Edward. She attended Westfield Junior School in Hoddesdon and Presdales School in Ware, Hertfordshire.
Career:
Ainsworth had guest appearances in a number of TV series, such as The Bill and A Touch of Frost, before landing the role of Little Mo in EastEnders. She stayed with the soap opera from 2000 until 2006. Since then, she has starred in such TV series as Holby Blue, The Wright Way and Call the Midwife. Her biggest role since appearing in EastEnders was as Cathy Keating in Granchester.
