Best Known For: The Full Monty.
Early-life: Robert Carlyle was born in Glasgow on April 14, 1961. His mother left home when he was four. He was raised by his father in a succession of communes in England and Scotland. After leaving school with no qualifications, Carlyle followed in his father's footsteps by working as a painter and decorator. At 21, he bought a copy of Arthur Miller's classic play The Crucible, which inspired him to become an actor. He studied at the Glasgow Arts Centre and the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music And Drama.
Career: Carlyle co-founded the Raindog theatre group in Glasgow in 1990 and his big break came in the same year when director Ken Loach cast him in the film Riff-Raff. Four years later, he won a Scottish Bafta for his performance as murderer Albie Kinsella in a three-part episode of Cracker. The lead role in Hamish Macbeth followed in 1995. He caught Hollywood's attention after appearing in Trainspotting and The Full Monty. He has also starred in Plunkett and Macleane, Angela's Ashes, The Beach, Bond film The World Is Not Enough, and The 51st State, as well as 28 Weeks Later.
Quote: "Acting is such a frivolous thing to do, so I want to try and use that skill on projects that have something to say."
Trivia: He was awarded an OBE in 1999.
Justin Louis (Actor) .. Everett Young
Born: February 20, 1967 in Terceira, Acores in Portugal
Best Known For: Colonel Everett Young on SGU Stargate Universe or serial killer Ray Prager in Durham County.
Early-life: Justin Louis was born Luis Ferreira on February 20, 1967. He was born in Terceira, Acores in Portugal, but his parents moved to Canada and he was raised in North York, Ontario. His first known acting role was in 1986 in the TV movie Doing Life.
Career: Louis' greatest roles have all come on the small screen. Although he is best known as a TV actor, he has appeared in films, including Saw IV, Dawn of the Dead and Shooter. The TV series he has been involved in include Urban Angel (1991 - 92), Local Heroes (1996), Public Morals (1996), The Fighting Fitzgeralds (2001), Hidden Hills (2002 - 03), The Andromeda Strain (2008) and Durham County (2007). In Durham County, his chilling performance as serial killer Ray Prager earned him the Gemini Award for Leading Actor in 2008. He won critical acclaim for his portrayal of Donald Trump in Trump Unauthorised (2005) and his role of FBI Assistant Director John Pollock in Missing (2004 - 06). In 2009, he joined the cast of SGU Stargate Universe as Colonel Everett Young. More recently, he has starred in Primeval: New World, Breaking Bad and Motive.
Quote: On acting: "It's much harder to come in and do three-eighths of a page scene than it is to do twelve pages of dialogue… to come in and capture a sense of something with one line, get in and out of it can be a little more challenging."
Trivia: After using the stage name Justin Louis for 25 years until his mother died in 2008, he changed his name to Louis Ferreira.

Born: January 17, 1982 in Long Island, New York
Best Known For: Cliff St. Paul in "Ugly Betty" and Eli Wallace in "SGU Stargate Universe".
Early-life: Born on January 17, 1982, in Long Island, New York, to parents Richard and Ellen. David was the youngest of three boys and the comedian of the family. His first stage performance was in the second grade as a rat in his school's production of The Nutcracker. The family moved to Florida, and it was while attending Countryside High School in Clearwater, Florida, that his performing career began. He went on to the acting conservatory at the University of Central Florida. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and Musical Theatre Performance, David found his first starring role in Winter Follies.
Career: As well as being a trained singer, actor and dancer, David also has extensive improvisation training and comedy experience to his name. He has starred in many theatre productions, including performances at the prestigious Actor's Theatre of Louisville. He relocated to Los Angeles to try to break into film and TV. He has appeared in Scrubs, Veronica Mars, The Secret Life of Zack and Cody and Dirt as well as a regular role as Logan Griffen in Moonlight which earned him a large and ever-expanding fan base. His received an Emmy nomination in 2008 for his role as Cliff St. Paul in Ugly Betty. He is best known for playing Eli Wallace in Syfy series Stargate Universe.

Best Known For: Playing Maureen Bowers in Painkiller Jane, and Tamara Johansen in Stargate Universe.
Early-life: Alaina Kalanj was born in Vancouver, Canada, on April 17, 1980. For a while, she lived just outside Ottawa, where she went to Goulbourn Middle School. She made her TV debut at the age of 13 in a Fox Family Channel pilot. She was offered the main role in the commissioned series, but decided instead to travel the world as a model having been spotted by a model scout in her local shopping mall. She lived in Germany and Japan, before returning to Dallas - where her parents now lived - and enrolling in college. While studying, she had several small TV and film roles, but it was not until she moved to Los Angeles that her credits started to emerge.
Career: Huffman has appeared in several films, including Pendulum (2001), Screen Door Jesus (2003), The Gunman (2004) and Dog Lover's Symphony (2006). She has also made TV appearances in The OC, Dawson's Creek, Tru Calling, Medical Investigation and CSI. It was her role as Maureen Bowers in Painkiller Jane that made her name, as well as playing Black Canary in the hit series Smallville. She joined the Stargate Universe cast in 2009, playing Lieutenant Tamara Johansen. Since then, she has had roles in Alphas, NCIS: Los Angeles and Supernatural.
Quote: "I can play bad ass characters very well! I don't find it difficult at all; it is actually fun for me. I tend to play these types of tough characters. I love playing strong and powerful women."
Trivia: Her favourite chocolate is peanut butter cups.
